What was I thinking before this?

After years of spending a lot of money on quality base layers, pants and a jackets I was wearing cotton turtle necks but not any more. Very comfortable and a great fit as always with The North Face product line. I just returned from a week on the slopes and this 1/4 zip rocks. From mountain top to base the zipper was perfect from regulating my temp each time. I washed it only twice that week after a late night out each time and it was dry and ready to go again early the next morning. Great customer service as well.

Great Shirt

I use this for early morning runs and biking, in Winter (Washington, DC) temps are typically between 10 & 40 degrees f - I use this over a base layer, and am always comfortable. I immediately purchased a 2nd one so I always have one ready- highly recommend it!
