Used to love North Face. All the gear I bought was North Face and its all I looked for. Over the past 2 years I have moved to Arcteryx for their quality and fit. Nothing beats of fit on an Arcteryx item. I had the denali which fit terrible. It not only fit terrible which made it impossible to layer but every knucklehead around has one. Figured I would give North Face another chance and it paid big! The fit on this is the best I have seen in years (A large which I always wear fits perfect) Not everyone has one and its a workhorse on the mountain. A smart wool base, wind stopper t and this I am out and comfortable. Also lightweight and much more packable than the denali. A+ on this one.

awesome jacket, i've been wearing this jacket with a t-shirt in 25-30 *F weather and its easy to keep warm. open the pockets up and it vents cool air, pulls at the waist keep the jacket bottom snug if you like. All around great looking The North Face jacket that is a bit unique as compared with the typical fleece you tend to see everywhere.

This jacket fits well, is well designed, and very light. Utilizing a paclite jacket as a windbreaker/rain shell is optimal for weight management. This jacket has an excellent warmth to weight ratio, although I would not recommend it for rigerious activities where excessive abrasion will occur (i.e. trail blazing, hunting in brush etc.)

Really comfortable and warm jacket! Had no idea that fleece could be this soft. Pockets are comfortable inside too and the ties at the waist give it a great all around fit. Highly recommended for either a milder winter jacket or for layering in colder northern climates.

Nice jacket! If it is cold/windy out, you may need to wear a longsleeve underneath, as the air will find its way through the fabric if its strong enough. Fits comfortably, has quite a bit more room than the Flight Series jackets.
