They are very warm, and I'm satisfied with the buy. The only thing is, don't walk with them in deep snow because they barely reach above the ankle.

I just got these boots, and they were everything I expected and more. Super comfy, and very warm. I got the White and grey, really nice contrast, looks very sharp. And these boots are light, you don't feel like you are wearing bricks on your feet. I strongly recommend!

I first bought the size 6.5 because I normally wear this size, but needed to exchange for a size 7 which was perfect. I am very satisfied with the return process at Backcountry because I was promptly refunded the amount for the returned size and sent my new pair of boots.

The Chilkat appears to be a very well made boot. I normally wear a size 8.5 in my boots but these were really small and I would not be able to wear appropriate socks with the way these boots fit my foot. Too bad. Liked 'em :(

I like my boots a lot. They are the 1st pair of Winter/Snow boots I've ever bought. I've been using them all week in Park City. I had them on for 5 hours walking in the snow downtown. My feet never got wet or cold.

I was really worried when I ordered the boots b/c some people had complained about the boots rubbing their legs. I got mine, and yes...they rubbed. For the first day or so. I didn't have them laced up all the way either, like I assumed some people might have. But I got used to them, and I love my boots. We went to Colorado on our honeymoon and they not only were great for walking on the ice and snow, but they were really warm as well. Even though we don't get a lot of snow here in Alabama, they're still great for our rainy season and for our several trips to the Smokies in the fall and winter. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone!!!!

You wanted me to write why I returned the boots I ordered. Well, the right was a size 6.5 and the left was a size 8. Thank you for the prompt delivery of the correct size, however!

I really like these boots, they are soooo warm. The only thing I have issues with is the top of the boot rubs my right leg, the left one is fine. I hope that they will get less stiff soon. I have worn them probably about a half a dozen times so I am still hopeing. I use them for walking in the snow and snowshoeing. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I own a lot of Northface and am a big fan. I wanted a pair for my husband but they don't go small enough. NF if your listening please make smaller sizes!

I love these boats. They got here so fast and just in time for 8in. of snow.
They look like shoes so when I have jeans on you don't even know there boats.
They have a great grip and the no slip works great to.

These boots are great!! I would highly reccommend these boots. I took them snowshoeing and they kept me warm and dry. They are very lightweight and comfortable..I would reccomend wool socks with liners to aviod rub. The inside lining is s soft and comfy on your feet. Plus they look great as well!! You won't be sorry getting these boots.

I bought these boots as an early Christmas gift for my daughter who attends the U. of Wisconsin. She has to do a lot of walking and with all of the snow they have had this month, she has worn them every day. She just loves them and says they have kept her feet warm and dry no matter how cold, windy or snowy it has been.
