The North Face Volt Jacket - Women's - 2007

As you sweat on your uphill climb or early morning run, The North Face's highly breathable Women's Softshell Volt Jacket keeps you dry and warm. The Volt Jacket's water- and wind-repellent material helps protect you against drizzly rain and chilly breezes, so you can stay comfortable throughout your workout. The North Face's elastic bound cuffs keep your sleeves from bunching up, and the reflective logos help motorists see you on your after-work bike rides.

Bottom Line: Charge up your internal batteries and power through your outdoor adventure in the water- and wind-repellent North Face Volt Jacket.

Love this jacket!

I Live in Minnesota and have only owned the jacket a couple of months. I have worn it in wind and rain and it's kept me warm. It's very light weight and great for layering. I would not order a size smaller. I am 5'9" and I ordered a large and very glad I didn't go any smaller. I got this jacket in the Moonlight Ivory - very cool color, not like everyone elses.

NICE

This jacket is warm and cute, the color blocks also create a slimming effect. The fabric is amazing, I love how it stretches in every way possible. It is perfect for all year, it is light enough for chilly summer nights yet warm enough for a brisk winter day. Perfect layering piece. If you like to wear your jackets closer to your body rather than baggier order a size smaller than you wear (I usually wear a medium, but I think a small would have fit perfectly).

This is my first TNF and it definitely is a great one! The stretch capability is amazing! So, good for my needs (running).
I would suggest getting a size down because it is pretty roomy. By my measurements, I think I would have qualified for a small, but got a XS to be fitted. To be honest, the XS is actually like a small. Just shorter. I would recommend the XS only to short people like me (5'0-5'4). Taller skinny people would hate it. It fits me perfectly (XS), length-wise (but I have a short torso). This jacket is pretty roomy, I wish they would fit it a little more, but other than that I love this jacket!!
The elastic on cuff really helps as well as the cinch cord to seal out wind. When layered with a fleece or underarmour, this jacket can do amazing things in the winter! As for summer nights...perfect!
By the way, the sleeve length is not too long, just right. This jacket is a little thin, but does a good job of blocking most wind and breathes as you work out and move.
Bottom line= great running jacket for 3 seasons (with layers in winter), breathes, stretches, resists most wind, keeps one dry in light drizzle. Cons= runs large (I can fit a sweatshirt underneath and I'm not even that skinny!), maybe too thin (perfect for my needs), short torso for tall peeps!

Overall, great jacket! (Black is nice, too) Not to mention the service was fantastic and it came really quickly with the free shipping!! Thumbs up!

TNF Volt Jacket

Attractive cut, light weight and thin. Have not had a chance to wear in the elements yet. At 5'5", 160lbs., I bought a large as I usually layer. I should have gone with a medium, as my layers will be lighter. The sleeves are much too long and I could have made due with a snugger fit but I'm still happy with the jacket AND service.

I was so pleased with the service. Free and fast shipping...I loved it!! I was a little disappointed with the jacket. I thought that it would be a slightly different color hue.

We have 3 teenage children in our home, and all have a North Face jacket. They are different, but the results are the same from all 3. They love their North Face jackets! As a matter of fact, our 12 year old daughter is waiting for hers.
