The North Face El Cap Shirt - Men's - 2007

Wear the North Face Men's El Cap Shirt as a base layer for your ice climbing adventures, or alone during spring cragging. The North Face's quick drying VaporWick fabric moves moisture away from your skin, so you stay dry and warm. When you start getting too hot, open the front zipper and let some cool air in. Flat seams keep the long-sleeve El Cap Shirt comfortable as you rope in, and an antimicrobial wash helps control odors.

Bottom Line: The North Face El Cap Shirt keeps you dry as you take on Yosemite.

best base layer for me

By:
December 5, 2007

gf got me one 4 years ago for my birthday, and it is still my favorite shirt. 2 years ago bought another one because i loved it so much. i have a hard time finding base layers that are long enough in the torso for me, and this one is a perfect fit. it is super breathable, durable (it can snag, like any Capilene shirt, but it doesn't spread), and zip 'er up and it blocks more wind than most base layers i've used. i recommend this shirt so much, i'm actually considering buying 2 more right now!!

Great looking shirt for everyday wear, or as baselayer or 2nd layer in cold weather

Very comfortable shirts, they look great (especially black and dark blue), and are extremely versatile. You can really wear your TNF El Cap shirt anywhere, to do anything. Great base or 2nd layer when you hit the slopes, or for just wearing around the house on a cold, white Saturday morning in winter. Get one!!

I have had about 3 of these shirts and they are great! backpacking, skiing, job interview, anything!
Super comfy! I have taken these running but they do fit a little loose. No funky sizing. I am 5"9 and wear a Medium, I also wear a Medium in Old Navy/Gap. Just make sure to let the lady in your life wash it otherwise they will probably throw it out.
