The North Face Xenon Lumbar Pack - 60 cu in - 2007

Clip on The North Face Xenon Lumbar Pack and bring two bottles of water and a few energy bars on your hardcore run or bike ride. The waist-belt's mesh allows air circulation between the pack and your body, and the Xenon Lumbar Pack's angled bottle pockets mean you won't have to fumble around to get a drink while you're on the trail. The North Face's water bottle stabilizers with three-point compression and molded control panels help keep the two included water bottles stable as you log those extra miles.

Bottom Line: Bring along The North Face Xenon Lumbar Pack and forget about stashing water bottles in the bushes ahead of time.

not the best!!!

The North Face xeon pack isnt the best lumbar pack i have ever used. there is not that much room in the pocket, and if you ware it in your front, your legs pop the water bottles out of the pockets. But ware it in the back and it works great, just dont plan on taking alot of stuff.

Water pack

This lumbar pack is terrific for hiking, however, I had originally purchased it for long-distance running and didn't like the feeling of it riding up on my waist and moving around so much. So, its great for hikes and walks.

good, but could be better......

My wife, 2 kids and I used these lumbar packs on a hiking trip in the Grand Canyon. Very comfortable, but the only complaint is that the water bottle retention system is not "positive" enough. Bottles can fall out easily, and tightening the retention straps is still not a guarantee you won't lose a bottle.
