The North Face Arnuva 50 Trail Running Shoe - Men's - 2006

The North Face Men's E50 Trail Running Shoes represent the culmination of years of endurance racing research. X-2 polymer dampening compounds in the heel and forefoot give you high impact cushioning and durable support, while a rear foot compression cage provides additional assistance and neutral guidance for mild pronators. The TPU lacing cage and lateral and medial elastic forefoot straps provide upper foot and width comfort respectively. The midfoot expansion system allows you to make micro-adjustments on the fly without untying your shoes. These Flight Series running shoes also help prevent blisters with a directional heel lining panel that locks your heel in place and with multiple air channels that cool and reduce friction. Whether you like to run on the street or on the trail, the durable TNF Tenacious Grip rubber outsole provides exceptional traction to keep you on your feet.

Bottom Line: Any serious runner will love the performance and comfort of The North Face E50 running shoes.

Nice shoes

I need curve lasted shoes since I supinate.
These fit the bill. Plus they have an adjustable
strap across the midfoot that I have adjusted to help
me roll in even more.

Nice shoe

I live in Tennessee and have worn these shoes on 3 or 4 fairly technical trail runs. They are very light and have performed nicely. Great shoe!

Sturdy and comfortable

These shoes do well on both trail and road. While the fit is loose, my feet don't slide around on flat, uphill, or even steep downhill trails. The fit is a bit on the small size - I had to go up 1/2 size. If you're wondering how these compare to the Arnuva 50 Boa - these shoes have a more pointed toe box, and lack the boa lacing system. I'd recommend you pay the extra money and go with the Arnuva 50 Boa over these.

Nice Road Shoe

By:

This shoe is light for a technical trail shoe you simply can feel every rock you step on. However it is a great road or dirt track shoe as it has great cushion and is very light. Highly recommended for anything but technical trails.

Awesome running shoes!

By:

I buy a new pair of running shoes every year and this is the very first time I bought the exact same shoes. These shoes have held up unbelievably well. Can't recommend them enough!

This shoe is very comfortable and sturdy! Its also true to its size. I was a little afraid at first, being my first internet shoe purchase. You wont be disappointed buying this shoe. The red/gray color scheme is great!

Great overall shoe

By:

I have only had the shoes for 2 days. I have run on asphalt and trails. Traction is great and they are light weight. They were very comfortable on the road and trail both.

Do not buy this shoe for the trail...

This shoe is too soft for the trail unless it is smooth flat single track. I own these shoes and use them exclusively on the road. They perform very well for the road but are not high performers on the trail.

Great Shoe....Terrible Color

By: Backcountry.com Employee

This is a great trail shoe that fits true to size. It's sturdy and I'm really starting to enjoy the Park City trails in them. I'm usually not that concerned about appearance but this time I've got a problem. The Foil Grey and Gunnison Green is a mistake I recommend avoiding.

Better for road....not trail

By: Backcountry.com Alumni

These shoes fit true to size and are a comfortable way to go - if you're running on the road. If you're doing any serious trail running your feet will hate you. The sole on this shoe is really soft which makes it horrible on any type of rock/pebbles.
