The North Face Boundary Triclimate Jacket - Boys' - 2006
The North Face Boys' Boundary Triclimate Jacket's three-in-one system keeps your son warm from the first hint of brisk air in October until the last bit of snow melts in May. The Boundary Triclimate Jacket's shell and hood are waterproof and seam sealed, so the 2-layer HyVent fabric withstands November drizzles and February powder days. The included Triclimate removable fleece liner adds extra insulation to the Boundary Triclimate Jacket. When the sun's shining and the temperature's rising, he can wear the fleece liner solo.
Bottom Line: The North Face Boundary Triclimate knows no limits when it comes to weather resistance.
This is a great jacket for my son. The fleece is perfect for cooler weather. The shell has been great for those wet days. And together, they are just right for the cold winter days.
My son loves his new jacket, perfect for cold weather and he can also remove a layer for the spring. The fit of the North Face seem a little strange, the arms always seem very long. My son wears a size 5/6 and the extra-small is a good fit, but the arms seem a little long, but he is happy with it. Well made.
My son's North Face Triclimate Jacket arrived just before four to five feet of snow, then sub zero temps hit our town (we're in northern New York). The jacket lived up to its name (and price) in terms of its water and wind repellency. The removable fleece liner, however handy, could have been a little thicker though, as my son was still chilly on some occasions. Perhaps a fleece like the Denali underneath would suit us better in the future. Still, it is a useful, good looking jacket, and versatile, as now he can use it for our current spring downpours. Overall, pretty good product.
My son and I love this jacket. The versatility you can read about, but what you don't know until you see it is how WELL the jacket is made. The details and clean mechanics of taking the two pieces apart and putting them back together, the way the zippers are tucked away neatly under neat little corner flaps, and it is very EASY and quick to do, not like other jackets with liners can be. The seams are neat and tight and well done. Excellent jacket, good value and I'm so glad I ordered it.
My son has worn this in -20F windchill over the last week, and it is the only part of his body that stayed warm. It washes easy, but tends to run a little on the small side. Buy one size bigger than usual.
Bought the jacket for my son. It looks great and he likes it a lot. The price was significantly better than our local retailers'. I would have given it a 5, but until my son has worn it through the winter I won't know how it holds up.
Stellar and superb product for children. Durable to withstand scrapes and rowdy behavior of active youth. Versatile with zipout liner so kids won't collapse of heat stress on warmer days, but keep snug and warm in the blizzards. Another NORTH FACE winner.
