The North Face Yavapai Backpack - 1850cu in - 2007

Load up The North Face 1850cu inch Yavapai Backpack with your daily necessities and head for school, work, or the trailhead. The Yavapai Backpack's angled bottom panel and compression straps move its load close to your back to reduce strain. Well-padded shoulder straps and the padded foam back make the Yavapai comfy enough to wear all day. Stash your water in the mesh water bottle pockets or in the padded internal pocket that holds your water bladder (not included). The North Face also gave this pack a tuck-away waist-belt for added support on long days.

Great Versitile Pack

I got this bag as a gift from my boyfriend. I love it because I have a fairly big laptop (15" screen) and it fits in nicely to the laptop slot. Once that's in I have all kinds of room for my lunch, workout clothes, and various notebooks and crap that I cart to and from work everyday. In addition to being great for the work commute, its also good for traveling and hiking. It will fit under the seat in front of you as a carry on when flying, which means you don't have to compete for overhead space. I put a 2L bladder in the laptop slot and hiked around the Guadalupe Mts. and Carlsbad Caverns. All in all a really nice bag that will last me a long time.

buying this bag has been one of my best investments. i'm prone to back pains, and being a college student i carry a lot on my back. it sits higher so it reduces stress and improper weight distribution, and the convenient computer sleeve helps me keep my ever present lap top safe from what ever else i may be carrying. love love love it.

This is a great backpack for school, or hiking. The backpack compartment is lightly padded, with a clip to secure it in place, and 14in by 12in. You can also use the laptop compartment for a hydration bladder and run the tube through a hole in the very top. It has nicely padded shoulders and back panel, but isn't as breathable for hikes.
