These are just good solid hiking shorts; I prefer the snap closure to a button, it is much more durable. They fit very well and the pocket size and configuration is well-designed. I have not had any durabilty issues with the pocket closures and my shorts are usually so stained and thrashed after a season that I replace them anyway. I am placing an order now for a couple more pairs.

These shorts are great. They are light weight and rugged! I would recommend them to anyone!

Annoyances: Snap button closure, tiny Hook-and-loop closure patches on pockets which will stop working after a season; zipper is cheap.
Other than that, nice town pants. Wouldn't take them into the wild.

These are great shorts. Once they come in the mail I don't take them off for at least 3 weeks at a time! The side pockets are large enough for just about anything you'd want to carry, but don't add extra bulk. These are the 2nd pair I have owned. A+

I was a little dissapointed with these shorts. I feel they are cut smaller than the Crimpit's from last year. A size 34 is a bit tighter on the waist and shorter on the inseam. But they are still good shorts, and the guys and gals at here do a fantastic job as always. So I give these shorts 3 stars.

You won't find a better looking or feeling pair of shorts for this price. I bought both colors and I'm seriously considering buying an extra pair of each. They're THAT great. Also, the brown is a much more attractive color than it appears in the picture. I love these shorts!

These shorts are great for every thing I bought them for climbing, and I love the fact they have four cargo pockets on the sides rather than the normal two.

I bought these shorts last week and they arrived last night. The instant I tried them on I realized these were exactly what I was looking for. They are the perfect length, perfect fit, and the pockets are all functional. I am 6'2" and 200lb and I bought the 36in.
