The North Face Kilo Bag Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down - 2007

The North Face Kilo (or the 2.2-Pound Bag to us Gringos) 32-Degree is an amazingly lightweight and compressible goose down sleeping bag that gives you spacious comfort in freezing temps. Weighing a negligible 2lbs 1oz (hey that's LESS than a kilo!), this bag is perfect for backcountry touring and moving fast. Unlike many other The North Face Flight Series sleeping bags, the Kilo has a roomier shape with more generous space for the shoulders and chest. A vaulted footbox is spacious and extra warm for your feet and toes. The bag's 30D nylon ripstop shell is treated with durable water repellent to combat moisture. The Kilo's creature comforts include a color-coded pull cord for easy hood adjustment and easy-grab pull tabs and it stuffs down to the size of a football (an American one, that is)!

Bottom Line: The lightest and most spacious, this sleeping bag has all the best technology to improve your trek.

TNF Kilo bag

By:

This is a VERY nice bag. Comfortable, warm, extra roomy at shoulders and feet, which is nice when you are 6'4" tall like me. Very well made and I am completely satisfied with this item, and this site, as well.

This bag was designed for comfort and warmth. By far the best sleeping bag i have ever bought. Keeps you warm on the coldest nights and packs as light as a feather. Cant go wrong with this bag.

Down to 30!

By:

I just got back from a trip to OBX. It got quite cold at night (being the middle of March and all), and the Kilo bag kept me quite snug and warm! I really liked the vaulted footbox!
