The North Face El Cap Delta - Men's - 2006

The North Face El Cap Delta can be worn as either an ultralight fleece jacket or ultra warm base layer. It's made from VaporWick El Cap pique so it wicks moisture away from the skin making it a great choice as a base layer on really cold days skiing the lifts. When spring hits wear a tech tee underneath and open the front zip after you warm up. It even has an infused zip-sleeve pocket to hold your house key or some energy gel.

Bottom Line: Light and easy, you'll take it with you almost everywhere.

El Cap Delta

By:

I like this item, it is good for spring in Chicago. It is good for running in because the material is "breathable".

Fantastic Technical Wear

By:
January 12, 2007

This shirt is the best thing I have found for cool Fall hikes. The pocket on the sleeve is also great for small change, a key, or a small mP3 player. I liked this shirt so much that while back home in Germany visiting my family, I purchased another two.

The North Face Got this one right

By:
February 13, 2007

I usually stick with Mountain Hardwear, Arc'teryx and sometimes Patagonia but I bought the NF El Cap Delta first in size large which was to small. I was sent the XL in a short time and it is the bomb. Great quality, looks and fit (may want to go up a size). I now have two and if I could find the right color, I would get another. Nice and warm with no bulk.

Not too shaby

By:

I love this shirt for playing cool evening sports, running, and morning bike rides. A bit pricy though.

Nice fleece but not versatile

By:
October 28, 2005

This fleece looks great and works well under a jacket for riding or skiing in cold conditions. It fits fairly tight and the main problem for me is the length. It is so short that it barely makes it to my waste, which makes it look stupid if you wear it as a jacket itself.

great shirt

By:

I bought this El Cap shirt for my boyfriend, and he loves it! It looks great for a workout shirt, or you can pair it with some jeans for a cute casual look as well! It's also thin enough to layer underneath.

Good quality

By:
November 18, 2005

This shirt definitely works well as an under layer, as well as looking stylish. It does a good job of pulling sweat away from the skin, which unfortunately has the effect of it getting wet quickly! Good buy overall.

Great Buy, even Better order processing

By:
March 20, 2006

I just received the fleece just seven days after ordering, that's very good considering it was shipped overseas. Great buy, it’s very comfortable too, great for mornings or evenings a bit on the cooler side.
