The North Face Syncline Long-Sleeve Shirt looks like an ordinary button down, but its Tek mesh lining and synthetic cloth help it wick moisture away from your body. You have your comfy everyday shirts and you have your hiking shirts. The North Face Syncline works as both, thanks to its Odyssey Cloth and Tek mesh lining. These are fantastic shirts. Extremely comfortable and easy to wear - just wash em, dry em, and wear em... straight out of the drier with no wrinkles anywhere. If you have to wear a shirt with a collar you're going to be reaching for this one every day so you might as well get more than one.

Easy to wash, looks great without an iron. Very comfortable and durable, but doesn't hold up well if hiking though brush. It ends up with lots of tiny frayed areas. Breathable enough for hiking in the desert but thick enough for colder weather.

I love the shirt, its comfortable, fits well and looks good.....but it simply didn't hold up. The fabric has very low durability. All of the stress points wore through in short order With light wear and careful washing it lasted less than two years.

I ordered one of these for my husband and then he wanted more in several other colors. They come out of the dryer wrinkle-free, are very comfortable, and look nice all day. My husband is an IT services consultant who works with law enforcement and this shirt is the perfect blend of consulting professional and "tough guy". (The dry cleaner is sad though.)
