I am incredibly pleased with the daily performance I've received from this fleece. It's definitely not meant to protect you from -30 degree weather, but it's perfect to throw on during the constantly fluctuating Wisconsin fall weather, when it's 55 degrees one day and 70 the next. It also fits my 5'9" frame perfectly--not too boxy and long enough for my arms.

I bought this for my mom last christmas. she absolutely loves it and wears it all the time. The fleece on it is more cushy and soft than the Denali.

Got this fleece as a gift for my mother, and she loves it. It's one of the softest fleeces I've seen out there. Seems to fit true to size.

I love all my North Face jackets. I work on cold sound stages, and the Khumbu keeps me warm without being bulky.

I am always cold, and this fleece has done an amazing job keeping me warm. I personally love the high neck, very cozy, but be warned—it will probably come right up to your chin. I HIGHLY recommend it; it’s great for walking around campus on cold fall days!

When I tried the jacket on upon receiving it in the mail, I loved it! It is so warm and comfortable! However, after wearing it one time, I realized that it is a dog hair magnet. It also pills very easily. I love the jacket, but I do not like the fact that I need to use a lint brush every time I wear it. I would advise future buyers to stay away from black, as it picks up everything. However, based on comfort and warmth, this lightweight jacket is great.

This is the toastiest, nicest colored fleece I've bought out of all of my North Face fleeces. The collar area is super thick and the rest of the coat is a nice thickness as well. I've gotten lots of compliments from people who are jealous of it! The price is very low for such a high quality item. I highly recommend that everyone purchase this item, particularly in the red.

My wife really likes this jacket and it looks great on her! Not super warm, but good for layering.

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket was sent as a gift and it came a nice box with a handwritten note. Very thoughtful. The jacket was nice and seemed pretty warm; however, it wasn't as warm as hoped for in the sleeves. It seemed a bit thin. Granted this was in DC, it wasn't weather that I'm used to in Florida. But it's a great jacket as long I bundled up a little more with it.

This was purchased as a gift and was very well received. The recipient wears it almost daily. It is perfect for milder winter weather with normal layers beneath and also works well with a heavier layer underneath during colder spells. Very good value for the price!

I love this jacket! It is not too heavy and not too light! The price was right and the jacket fits me perfectly! This is favorite The North Face Jacket yet! Does The North Face make pajamas....?!

As the item was a gift, I can only tell you the feedback I got from that person. She generally loves the jacket, it's warm and very functional. The only complaint I heard was about the collar of the jacket being unnecessarily bulky and tall. It protrudes up into the face region, and really doesn't take into account the varying lengths of people's necks. Besides that, she seems to be pleased.

The Khumbu is very warm. I got the syra red and love the color!! I'm 5'6" 135lb and got a small. Fit and length is perfect (with a T-shirt), except for the high collar but I guess it takes the place of a scarf on cold windy days.

I love this jacket. It is very worm and keeps its shape. I love that I can wear it by itself or under a heavy coat. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love my Khumbu fleece. I live in San Francisco where, as you may know, it is windy and cold, pretty much 90% of the time. I am completely content with warmth. Totally worth the price, after the amount of times I've worn it already, it's a dollar a day!

The Khumbu fleece is all I ever use on cold ski days under my hardshell. The neck is wide enough to zip up all the way comfortably. I bring this fleece camping and hiking, because it is warm, weather resistant, and machine washable.

I love the Khumbu jacket. It is so soft and thick. One thing, though, after I washed it, it seemed to not be as thick. I know that sounds crazy, but they must have put some fabric stabilizer or something and then when you wash it, it comes out. It doesn't seem nearly as substantial after you wash it.

I bought my younger daughter a Khumba fleece in November. She goes to college in Rochester NY where it gets very cold and she loves it. It's lightweight but warm. It was great alone or with layers. My older daughter also got one and wears it everyday! I would recommend this fleece to anyone. It also is a little tapered so it looks attractive on women.

It fits trimly and looks nice, but it could be warmer. I wore it to Florida, temps at night fell to around 35F, and I needed another heavy sweatshirt on top of it (with long sleeves under it) in order to be comfortable.

I bought this jacket to zip-in to my North Face shell to take on my ski-trip honeymoon. I love both pieces together and separate. This is a very warm, comfortable jacket. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a really warm jacket!

I was disappointed in the Khumbu for two reasons:
1) the fleece doesn't really get clean. Maybe this is due to the thickness of the fabric or (more likely) due to the fact that my fleece is off-white. It started looking shabby after a couple weeks.
2) the finish of the fleece is "pilly", rough, and uneven. This may be a problem with all The North Face fleece, since this happened with my husband's Pumori jacket, too.

I purchased 2 Khumbu fleece jackets to give to my daughters for Christmas. My oldest daughter has a Khumbu fleece that I purchased from this site about 3 years ago. She wears it ALL the time, it has held up beautifully, and I know my other 2 girls will get a lot of wear and warmth from the Khumbu fleece they will receive this Christmas.

It's HOT! Very comfy and easy to move in. I read a review before I bought it about the jacket having a "giraffe neck"... it may be a bit more bulky then the traditional fleece but when the cold Wisco fall/winter wind blows, and I can tuck into my new fleece it comes in handy!

This is a great, very warm fleece that layers nicely under the Grace rain jacket. The only complaint I have is that it is a total magnet for cat hair. I don't think it'll ever be completely black while it is in my possession (2 cats, one white the other pastel marmalade).

I just recieved the khumbu jacket in red. I love it. It fits really well. I would recommend wearing it under something when it gets really cold out. I live in Jersey and winters are harsh here.

I love them! My son sent three to the family while he was over in Iraq, for Christmas.. Mine of course was to small and I had to order a larger one, I ordered another and ended up keeping both and my daughter how has two colors. Thank and you probably didn't realize you were handling Christmas for a soldier in Iraq..
