This ski jacket kept me warm in 14 degree weather night skiing in Utah. With only a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, I was warm the entire time. I was able to hit the slopes comfortably without the feel of a "puffy down coat". North Face wins my vote!

This style seems to be a staple in New York and I live in California! It fits really well, is stylish and the performance - warm, water repels off of it, and and AND the generously sized hoot with removable fur lining makes this my favorite inclement weather jacket.

I am so pleased my hard earned dollars went into this coat (at the original price).

Even with the measurements it was hard to
determine the best fit, hence the return, the jacket runs big in the chest.

I have 5 coats, and this one...wow is all I can say. I am a student at a university with a 10 or so square mile campus and do lots of walking. 3 days in a row the temperature was under -10F. At -17, I was sooo warm in this jacket! I wear it in all weather and it just seems to do the job perfectly. I bought it in Cargo Green and have gotten so many compliments on the color with my dark skin and hair/eyes. Its beautiful, feminine and amazingly warm. I can't recommend it enough! Now I'm just trying to find the red one that was mentioned...didn't see it in red yet! That's probably the only way I could love it more :)

The jacket is a great fit - not bulky and true to size. I can wear just a t-shirt underneath during freezing weather and still be incredibly warm. It has many convenient pockets for storage and a removable fur trim.

The only drawback is that the collar is not lined w/ fleece inside. If you buy a white jacket, be careful about makeup getting on the collar.

I would highly recommend this jacket.

This is my favorite coat. Warm, fashionable, and looks good with just about anything you wear. I have this in pink which is difficult to find in my area. Thanks to this place, I was able to be unique and stay toasty warm. I plan on getting this coat in more colors. Simply the best winter coat in my opinion.

Recently started to wear my new Greenland Jacket. It's white with a silver/gray faux fur trim on the hood. There's a spiffy metal-look belt that reigns in the puff, giving a nice defined shape. I love the quality and the color -- it's fabulous that they used gray/silver rather than black against the white. It's white hot!

I purchased this jacket for my mother and she loves it! It definitely doesn't make you look any bigger like how some of those other puffy jackets make you look. She used it in London and said that it was fabulous! We are purchasing a few more.

This is definitely the most attractive ski jacket I've seen out there. It allows for fashion and movement. It's incredibly warm and comfortable so you don't feel confined or bulky. The color choices are fabulous, you're not just limited to the dull and boring black and grey that you find.

I bought the jacket for my daughter. She LOVES it. We selected the jacket because it was NorthFace, because they know cold weather, and she has a liking for the color pink. It is just what she wanted for skiing and whenever she is in cold weather areas.

My wife loved it, said it was the warmest coat she ever had.

This jacket is warm and it's stylish I actually look good in this coat, while keeping the cold out at the same time. I think I'll be wearing it quite a bit this winter. It's true to size, so don't worry about the fit.

This is a great multi-purpose jacket. It is functional and fabulous looking. I have worn it comfortably both on the slopes and in the city. It is very warm and the belt protects you from the wind. I would recommend it to anyone!

I love my new North Face Parka. The hood fits and keeps the wind out without adjusting it. I don't have to tie it each time I wear it. The body fit is sleek. The sleeve pocket works for storing my headband.

I am a Michigan resident and I bought the jacket for my 12-year-old daughter who has to ride the school bus to and from school. On the most frigid days she says that the jacket has kept her warm. Mission accomplished!

Having more than 3 feet of snow, and brutal cold, I was tired of my *snow jacket* and decided to buy this North Face Greenland in light blue for next year. But...I'm using it, because winter is defintely not over in N.E. The color is gorgeous and the fit is very feminine for a very warm winter coat. With the fur hood up it definitely blocks wind too. Zip fur off on the wet days. So far it has been in single digits, and I'm warm without bulk underneath, and it is waterproof. Wish it was 2' inches longer though in the rear area. So this jacket is very warm and comfortable except the arms are too short for me. I'm 5'10" and have fairly long arms, and this jacket just doesn't cut it. I would still recommend it to anyone without really long monkey arms like me, because I would love this jacket a whole lot if it weren't for that. I guess my search will continue. Hope this helps for you longer armed people in question. :)

This is a great coat. It's incredibly warm, we've had -10F temps already this winter and plenty of snow. The warmest coat I think I've ever owned. My husband bought it for me in the Red color and I love it. I've gotten tons of compliments on it. It's very stylish with the belted waist and looks great with jeans or dress slacks.

I love my jacket, and unfortunately it has gone straight to my head. Of course, it's functional (it's North Face, c’mon.) and keeps me warm even with a T-shirt underneath. But it fits so stylishly, without being bulky or masculine. I love to wear it with jeans and some stiletto boots. I feel like J-Lo in it! (in a good way). And the pink is the perfect shade—not juvenile, but flirty and innocent. This jacket is too cute, and I am too cute in it! Every girl should have something that makes her feel like that.

This coat is fantastic. I wore this coat to a football game outdoors on a cold December afternoon in Philadelphia and was perfectly warm. I'm looking forward to my next North Face purchase.

I live in Chicago. Although this winter has been relatively mild, on the days when temps have dropped to single digits with wind chill below zero, the Greenland parka-length jacket was perfect. The sturdy outer shell blocks high wind. A light to medium weight layer beneath is all you need to prevent the cold from chilling the upper body. The jacket's zipper is sturdy and easy to fasten in a rush. My only criticism of this jacket is that it runs a bit narrow in the hips and has only one small inside cell phone pocket. But the jacket is so well made with high quality down that it will last for years and prove to be a wise investment.

Yeah, so I bought The North Face Greenland Jacket for my girlfriend, and she loved it. The only thing was the hood was too big, and when she puts it on, it covers her face as well. But, the service here was one of the most outstanding I've ever seen.

The jacket was a gift for my daughter. It was exactly what she was looking for. She's a university student and needed something warm for her walking to class that didn't make her look like the Michelin Man. This was just the right choice for her. When I first got the jacket, I didn't know how I felt about it...now I love it. It's like a new pair of shoes, you have to break it in. The jacket is extremely warm, I can wear it with a t-shirt in twenty degree weather and be fine. I love the fact that it's waterproof and has great breath ability. The water just rolls right off! The only thing that bothers me is the area around the neck and chin. When you have the hood on with the jacket completely zipped up, everything is fine. With the hood down, the fabric sort of hits weird on the chin, making it slightly uncomfortable.

I am extremely happy and satisfied that I invested in the North Face Greenland Jacket. When I removed it from its packaging, it was nice and bright pink, and it had no flaws (I checked everything)! The coat itself kept me warm and toasty even in below zero weather in Canada. The jacket goes well with anything you wear and the belt makes it look sleek. I’m glad I used this site to order this coat. The service I received was excellent, my coat came on time, and I had no other problems like I have with other retailers.

The North Face Greenland Jacket is the best jacket for the cold I've bought yet. I was iffy at first when I saw the price, but I know North Face and they know how important it is to be warm in the cold weather like NYC. It was well worth the price and it kept me super warm in very cold weather. It's not bulky and big looking which was a big concern for me because I'm so petite. The belt gives it the feminine touch us ladies like, and the fur trim is an extra touch as well. I give it thumbs up all the way! I would definitely purchase again, and I'm thinking of getting another one in another color.

I bought this jacket a month ago for a weekend ski expedition to the Poconos. I must say this coat kept me warm and I would dare say it was in the 20's. I also loved the fact that I didn't look like the Pillsbury doughboy in this. It boasts a nice, waist-cinching belt that makes you look ultra feminine, without trying too hard. I would definitely purchase another one in another color! Thank you North Face for making another super product!

My wife is happy with the Greenland Jacket. Note that I did not say "extremely" happy. The jacket meets her expectations except in one regard. The fatal flaw committed by TNF is that they use a stylish but very cheap buckle on the waist strap. The buckle has a shiny metal female portion and a horribly brittle, flimsy plastic male portion. TNF is, I am sure, using the metal buckle to impart style to the jacket, and I have to agree, the buckle looks attractive. However, they have purchased what has to be about the lowest quality buckle on the market. The plastic male portion broke after a few weeks. Now my wife wears the jacket without the waist strap and she is less happy with the jacket as a result. Like I say, the jacket otherwise meets her expectations. I have seen these metal/plastic buckles in use elsewhere as well. I had some REI brand luggage last year that used several of these very fashionable, crappy metal/plastic combo units and two of them snapped after the first airline flight. I returned the luggage and will steer clear of anything that uses these buckles in the future. Without a better buckle, and unless you intend to wear the Greenland Jacket without the waist strap, I would insist that TNF either supply a better buckle, supply an ample supply of spare plastic male parts for they will inevitably break, or steer clear of the Greenland parka. Without this flaw, I would seriously consider giving the jacket a 4 or 5 star rating.
