Broke the watch strap on your heart rate monitor? No problem. The Suunto T-Series Strap swaps out in a few minutes and fits any T-Series watch. Now your training cycle can continue uninterrupted.
Bottom Line: Don't let a broken strap stop your training. Replace it quickly and easily with the Suunto T-Series Strap.
Bought a Suunto Coach T4 HRM watch and hated the black/white nylon strap that came with it. This strap was much sturdier and easier to get on and off. Great replacement for the original but Suunto should have probably included it with the watch!
The strap works well. At least, I'm not afraid of it falling off my wrist or the clasp failing on me. The ribbed section bugs me sometimes when I'm putting the watch on because the clasp catches on the ribbing. But, other than that, it's great. I'd buy it again.
But the question must be asked... "Why did you have to replace it to begin with?" I know I have powerful arms and the physique of a Greek god... but the rubber of even Swatch watches I wore when I was a kid never ripped clean off when I was removing a long sleeved shirt. The first strap ripped and the other ripped one week later. I have had the initial straps for about one year. The trade-off here is the light weight of the watch versus durability. I really like how light the watch is but I was disappointed in the durability of the watch band considering the price paid.
According to Suunto, there are only 4 straps that fit the D4, they come in black/yellow, black/blue, black/pink, and the traditional all black. None of which are avaiable currently on Backcountry.com. A Google search for "Suunto D4 Strap" will bring up the straps I mentioned.
I bought this with some hesitation, the photo doesn't do it justice, even Suuntos own site doesn't show it well. But, I bought it and am very happy. It IS a womens style (though I still needed to cut it some for my small wrists). Not as bulky as the other pink strap I had. It makes it much easier to wear the watch All the time, not just for a run...The black is matt. The swirls are also on the strap (but not overwhelming) which gives it some female whimsy....Thank you Suunto :)
I'm in New Zealnd and have just been given a Suunto t3c with the glossy strap that cannot adjust. i would like to buy a black adjustable strap. what are my options and how much would it cost to airmail to NZ. Are you open during the holiday period?
Is the Black Frost strap the women's design/size? It appears to have the same cool swirls as on the other women's straps but it's hard to tell from the picture.
see http://www.suuntocampaigns.com/tseries/ ..It's a womens strap, though I think their attempt at womens designs could be improved greatly. This is better than nothing, I guess.
Have had it for about a month now, and i prefer it a lot over the default webbing strap. You dont have to worry about having to tighten it every few hours and is very comfortable.
I have had problems with suunto elastomer straps in the past (as they broke after a couple of years of use... but thats not unreasonable, i think), and this one seems to be better made, but only time will tell.
