Suunto S-Lander Altimeter Watch - 2006

Whether you're climbing or skiing, the Suunto S-Lander Altimeter Watch provides you with all the altitude, time, temperature, and barometric pressure information you need for navigation and weather forecasting. The S-Lander tells your current altitude, rate of ascent/descent, accumulative gain and loss, and the number of runs during a trip. It also provides a four-day history of temperature and barometric pressure, so you can track changes in the weather, and avoid the monster storm that's coming. The Suunto S-Lander watch also has a rate of ascent feature that tells you how fast you're gaining altitude, so you know if you have enough time to make it to the top of the mountain before dark.

Bottom Line: Track the weather and altitude with the Suunto S-Lander altimeter watch.

This watch is water-resistant to 30 meters, but also, recommended to not push the buttons while submerged.

It's rated to go 100ft which is 30m. I swim with my vector and have not had any problems. I wouldn't push the max, but 5m it should be okay.

How wide is the diamterer of the watch? Is the band adjustable for a very small wrist? And what's it made of?How deep can water resistant handle? Just the splash off your paddle or an actual submersion (overboard from a canoe)?
