Superfeet created the Trim-to-Fit Orange Insoles specifically for men who spend a lot of time on their feet, whether walking, running, or working. Replace your old insoles with the Orange Insole from Superfeet to add support and absorb shock. An AgION antimicrobial top cover treatment reduces foot odor and bacteria.
Bottom Line: Give your running or work shoes the Superfeet treatment.
I'm a huge fan in these inserts. I got a stress fracture in my leg after a long hike and I have been more careful with my footwear ever since. I started using these and they have made a big difference. They provide great support and a good amount of cushion too. I have a slightly wide 10.5 foot and the Orange E's fit perfectly. I have these insoles in nearly all of my shoes.
I've used orange Superfeet in several pairs of trail running shoes, including Asics and Montrail. You should absolutely have these professionally fitted, because these can do more harm than good if they are the wrong size.
After a break in period, I noticed considerably less foot fatigue and better overall posture. I was on my feet on a concrete floor for 8+ hours a day, and go home to take my shoes off, having felt like I was sitting all day. On the trail they do the same. The stability and support they give your feet is fantastic, maximizing the performance of your footwear. The front pad give just enough cushion in the forefoot to make any activity where you're on your toes a little more enjoyable.
I noticed with several pairs of my orange Superfeet in Montrail shoes that my heel would start to rub my socks in a way that I had never experiences before. After almost a year of this, I tried blue Superfeet in the same shoes. The lower profile of the blue allowed my foot to sit properly in the heel cup, stopping the rubbing issue. While I miss the cushion of the orange in the forefoot, the better fit in the heel cup is well worth it. While superfeet does design each insole for a specific purpose, don't be afraid to try different ones. A different color may work better for you.
Superfeet yellow are designed for hockey skates and cycling shoes with an elevated heel (according to superfeet's website).
The superfeet specifically designed for ski boots are the REDhot and hotPINK superfeet, which feature extra insulation technology to keep your feet warm in cold conditions.
Superfeet Yellow is made for ski boots. They allow for a better fit in tighter-fitting footwear like skates and ski boots, they have ventilation, and they are made for footwear with a raised heel like skates, ski boots, and western boots.
Ya, you could put these in a ski boot. It would obviously change how the boot fits, but you should be able to adjust that easily by loosing up the straps.Great ball & heel shock absorption. They're best for work boots & shoes.
I have used Superfeet Greens for my military boots, and I loved them so much that I figured I'd get these orange ones for some of my less-impact-intense footwear. The way Superfeet insoles are firm ends up feeling so much better and giving you more support than more cushioned insoles. The high arch hits further back than most insoles, which supports my arch better than any other I've tried. They keep you from over-pronating, although I've never had a tendency to, myself. I tend to be more supinated if anything, but the deep heel cup in Superfeet insoles keep my ankle straight. Superfeet is the only way to go. Go to their website to see which of their insoles you should get.
I've always had a problem with sore heels after being on my feet for a long time in any kind of shoes. These solved that problem. These are a pretty big $$$ investment, but they are worth it. I've only ever tried the orange because they're rated for maximum support, and I love them. I wish I could afford a pair to slide in every pair of shoes I own, but right now I just wear them in my hiking boots and trail-running shoes (I wear 13s in those but 11.5 to 12 in regular shoes, so I can't swap them). They do feel odd at first under the arch, but the manual included tells me that is because they are properly supporting my arch, where other insoles are not. They must be right, because it feels fine after getting used to, and my heels no longer ache.
I bought these after really liking my green pair of these, and wow, what a difference. I'm a big guy who works in a warehouse with concrete floors, I spend 8+ hours a day on my feet just there, plus whatever else I have to do in a day. I also recently had knee surgery on one knee, and tore the MCL in my other knee, so they give me trouble on a daily basis. These insoles make working in that environment tolerable for my body, and keep my feet, back, and all my joints very happy. I can't say enough good things about these.
I purchased these to work with my Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe and oh did they make a difference. I have high arches and although these insoles are described as a mid to high arch insole replacement (I still prefer an even higher arched insole) they've made a complete difference in functionality. I could not hike/run in the Salomon's after just 2 trips due to the flat insoles that accompanied the shoe causing too much foot pain and these insoles relieved most of the discomfort. I've tried these in a half-dozen other shoes I own and they work just as well. Well worth the investment!!
