Stoic Luft Down Sweater - Men's
Lightweight, highly-compressible, and a god-send on top of frigid ridgelines, the Stoic Luft Down Sweater offers stow-able insulation for the coldest temperatures. Stoic insulated this on-the-go oven with 750-fill goose down in the main body and included 100-gram Cirrus synthetic insulation in the Luft Down’s underarm panels to reduce moisture accumulation when you get the blood flowing. Close-fitting and layer-friendly, the Luft Down Sweater wants to tag along on your next climb, tour, or shoulder season-backpacking trip. If you're aiming to use the Luft Down as a layering piece go with a true-to-size fit, but if you're looking to layer over another jacket, you may want to consider sizing up.

How is the torso length on this for you? Is it both slimmer and shorter or just the lateral issue? I was eyeing this in the Large (6'1" 185) but now you've got me wondering.

The jacket chest measures 47" in the L and 50" for the XL. This was meant to be used as a layering piece. That is also why the forearms are a bit tighter, to reduce the bulk in the arms if you are layering. If you want more room, I suggest sizing up. I'm 6' and 160 lbs and the medium is a great fit for me.

I'm a 40.5" chest. which is right in the middle of the medium chest sizing. I highly recommend this jacket. I've used it for belaying and even done some climbing in it.
