Just spent some time with my buddy's Stoic Bombshell and it's pretty sweet. It's basically the next generation of the BC.com Stoic 2.0 Shell (item #BCC0145) with some great new features. The cuffs and powderskirt will keep the snow out, but can be removed/tucked away when you dont need them. There are a few new pockets & smart ventilation.
Fit is the same as most BC gear: athletic with longer arms. And the hood should accommodate a helmet. Note: this is still a (soft)shell, so be sure you've got a quality insulating layer to match conditions. You can probably get a deal on last year's BC wool siphon hoody or the BC prime powerstretch top if you don't like rocking 2 hoods and losing style points.
VERY intelligent design and bomber construction throughout. The only pitfall I can see is that the thin elastic cord used to cinch the hood and waist will wear out eventually, but with a lifetime warranty & stellar customer service I wouldnt sweat it. 5 stars & will update if it under-performs over Thanksgiving.
Also, check out stoicgear.com for better pics & a bit more info (the site just launched so try later if it doesn't work). One last thing - this jacket's worth the full price, but with a little patience or searching you can probably get it way cheaper.

I got my jacket on S&C for less than $150. At this price it made buying the coat a no brainer. I am 5'5 185 lbs and I am fitting in the medium. I am thinking I could have gone with a large, but I like the more athletic fit of the medium personally. I have been exploring the jacket and keep finding something out about it. Part of me feels like it's a little too cute for its own good. For example I don't foresee using the arm pocket, but then again I never know. I have been out in the rain and it does a great job at keeping wetness out. Nothing but beads of water rest on the surface of the jacket. The drawstrings on the powder skirt and the hood seem like they are flimsy. Not sure if they are going to break or not. Very happy with the purchase.
