The material is awesome and the cut is very athletic (ie euro/slim fit, especially towards the waist). I'm 6'1", 160 lbs and the Medium fits great, but another 15 lbs and it would be too small. The insulation is super nice and warm, but packs down and is very lightweight. Pockets are great, hood could be a little bigger to be comfy with a helmet on, but it does fit over a helmet.

Only downside is that it's a bit short in the waist, so if you're tall and lanky the powder skirt isn't quite low enough to be perfectly effective.

Overall, SICK jacket. I paired it with some Salomon Cartel brown pants and they look amazing together.

Oh, and I got it off SAC, so hold your horses and it may not cost you an arm and a leg... Definitely worth an arm and a leg though.

Good Coat

Wore it at Stevens Pass WA this weekend. Definitely Warm, I wore a very light weight wool t-shirt underneath and i worked up a sweat. The coat did breath as advertised. Very water proof and wind proof, it was snowing, heavy at times and about 31 degrees so it was wet so it was wet snow, and the coat repelled all of it. I am positive that it will do well when it gets colder later this season. The pockets worked well was able to fit 1 16oz can in each of the hand pockets. I gave it 4 stars because the Blue would be a lot better if it were darker. However i never lost my 3 friends all day, they were able to spot me even though it was a powder day

Any update on the expected date for the black one? How true to form is the neon blue colour shown?? PS, how long are the pit zips? Thanks!

Pit zips are about 11 inches long, the color is slightly more muted than the total neon glow of the picture, but it's definitely a bright teal jacket. That being said, it looks fuggin sweet. No clue when the black one is coming.
