Are you kidding me?! $160bones for this jacket? So worth the value - I wear this jacket in black all the time; first layer, out on the town, spring days - all encompassing dynamic jacket. A steal at $160 !!

Overall, I would rate this jacket very highly. I have been using it for GS training on pretty cold days, at ten to twenty degrees. I got it in one size up so I could layer underneath and this makes the jacket very warm when needed, but when not needed it is just right, not too warm. The jacked does not have a snow skirt which helps trap heat in your upper torso when you need it, but this is minor. I would have really liked it if the hood had fit over my training helmet but it is too small - Spyder should consider a redesign for a larger hood since most of us wear helmets for training or just skiing. The jacket itself is very sturdy, great seams, no leaks, very waterproof on a snowy day with the snow guns cranking. I recommend this for training and normal (non-blizzard) ski days.

Just to echo the other comment, this jacket fits and feels great. As for size, I am 6" and just about 200lbs and the large fitted perfect. Maybe if you needed to layer a little more it might be snug
