Spyder Tango Puffy Jacket - Women's - 2006

Get to steppin' with the Spyder Women's Tango Puffy Jacket keeping you warm in the coldest temps. Stay super warm thanks to massive amounts of ThermaWeb insulation placed throughout the Tango Puffy Jacket. The heavy weather insulated hood wraps your head up like a giant head muff for awesome warmth even in the harshest cold. In case your dance starts to heat up, open up the Underarm zips to cool down your core. The Spyder Tango's internal powder skirt locks down for days when the snow gets deep and an internal draw cord at the hem keeps all your precious heat from escaping.

Bottom Line: The Spyder Tango Puffy Jacket does the Cha Cha, the Salsa and the Mambo, but it doesn't do the Shiver-bug.

Nice and Warm for the Outdoorsy Girl

By:
January 8, 2007

I wore this jacket when I was skiing in Austria where it was about 10-25 F (depending on where I was on the mountains). Under the jacket, I had a thin fleece jacket and cold gear. I was so warm that I had the pitzips fully open the whole time I was skiing. This jacket also has a pass pocket, little clip for the cord of your mp3 player, and the hood is suppose to be helmet compatible (my head is a little longer than average, so this isn't a surprise). This jacket isn't elegant like other Spyder jackets, but definitely has all the functionality at a more affordable cost. If you don't like wearing a lot of layers while skiing/snowboarding, this may be a good jacket for you.
