When the helicopter flies off and all that stands between you and the valley floor is a few thousand vertical feet of untracked powder, the Spyder Men’s Pinnacle Jacket is there to give you the protection and mobility you need. This waterproof breathable ski shell features 60 grams of Thinsulate Supreme insulation and a Dermizax EV membrane and fully taped seams, so you stay warmly secured against snow and moisture. Underarm zip vents and an upper back vent let you dump excess heat on backcountry days, and the adjustable hood zips off for riding with a helmet. A slew of interior and exterior pockets hold your goggles, MP3 player, energy bars, and ski pass, and the removable powder skirt blocks white smoke from blowing up the jacket. Spyder also added a RECCO avalanche rescue reflector to prepare you in sketchy conditions.
Bottom Line: The Pinnacle takes you from peak to creek in dry, warm comfort.
Spyder has been around for years and has put thousands of garments on the market. Over the years their products have changed with the industry, but through that time they have relentlessly tweaked, tested, and created better products season after season. After using this years gear, the test of time has been answered. This jacket is nothing short of radical! Everything about this jacket is functional and ergonomically designed. It features "technical" zippers and seams, as well as survival features. The sizing is stylish, but not outlandish. The materials are durable and double as a rain jacket in necessary as the Gore-Tex material that line the entire jacket speaks for itself. If you are looking for the best jacket you'll ever use, look no further.

However, for those worm days, there are ample vents and features to allow you to cool off, yet stay dry. If you are looking for the best jacket you ever used, look no further.
Hi! I'm Interested in this jacket but i have some doubts about its fit. I'm italian and i'm typing from italy. In my country this model weren't imported this year so i couldn't try it anywhere. I'm looking for a ski jacket which fit not to large. So if is it possible, could someone who bought the jacket post some photos of him wearing it?Probably noone will do what i'm requesting i know :) but you know ask is free! :D Many thanks if somebody accept to do it.
WOW... where to start... got the cool glade green color, always on stage... love it. Friends and wife can always find me. They pretty well thought of everything for this jacket... lots of big pockets... only problem... remembering which pocket I put something in... using it often helps with the remembering. The left outside chest pocket will carry 2 bottles of water (Ok, 2 beers, careful opening). Easily layers well for the cold, high (warm)collar that will protect the face really well on the "I'm being pelted chair ride or standing on top of some windy ridge". What it could use is a zipper pocket in addition to the mesh pocket on the "right inside" of the jacket. Negitive... outside hand pockets are hard to zip open and close... maybe they will loosen up after some more use. This is the closest to what I would call "the perfect jacket I would design" and want to wear. I would buy it again (but it has a lifetime warranty)so I may not need to. Steep on the $$$ but hey I figure I will use it for at least 8-10+ years and that puts the use/cost factor in the "it makes it a good buy" column. I have already recommended this jacket to people who asked me about the jacket... lots of compliments.
