Spyder Alta Jacket - Men's - 2008

Pull on the Spyder Men’s Alta Jacket for making turns in fresh Wasatch powder or just icing down your local hill. This ski shell features removable sleeves for those late season days when you can’t bear to put the skis away. A zip-out powder skirt blocks blowing snow on epic days, and internal pockets for your goggles, MP3 player, and ski pass keep you organized. A back pocket holds the sleeves when it’s a bright, sunny day.

Bottom Line: Alta is for skiers, and so is this jacket.

The Jacket is exactly what you would expect from Spyder. It is very warm. The material is very resistant to wind and water. It fits on the small side, but still true to size. I'm normally an easy XL, but it fit just a little more snug than a normal XL. All the pockets have labels for their intended use. The only knock is the hood that comes with the jacket. I would only use it as a last resort. I got this at 40% off and would consider it one of the best jacket purchases I've ever made.
