When times a ticking pick up the pace in icing conditions as the Tootega's Rubber outsoles offer excellent traction.
Bottom Line: Life's too short to stop for bad weather—wear the Sorel Women's Tootega Boot and keep on truckin'.
Great slip on boot! I got a half size larger for wiggle room, and it fits perfectly, even with heavy socks. I like the "Alaskan" look of the boot and have no trouble navigating the trails around my homestead. I keep them in my arctic entry and grab them more often than any other boot I own. Thanks Sorel. And thanks Back Country for your excellent service.
Hi I am looking for a specific pair of sorel boots. They are similar to a mocosson, are lined with what looks like lambs wool, they are a pull on boot that laces in the front, very casual looking, rhey are leather, with rubber soles. I believe they are last years model. I am desperate to find these boots. If you can help me I would appreciate it very much. Thanks
I got a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit perfectly. I like the fact that you can adjust the amount of snugness against the ankle - and just pull them on and go. I like the wider foot box, and I have no problem at all walking or running in them. I like the look of them too. Good boot Sorel!
Does anyone know the temperature rating for these boots, as in, how low can the temp drop and your feel stay warm? Also, can you use them with snow shoes?
I recently went hiking with these boots in wind chill temps of minus 20 degrees and my feet stayed toasty warm. I believe they are rated to minus 25 degrees.
I looked and looked at these boots before buying. I finally ordered and so am glad I did. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever tried on. The size is true. I wore them around the house and didn't want to take them off. I haven't been outside yet but just from looking at the way they are made I am sure they will be fine.
These boots are excellent. Very comfortable, and extremely warm with great traction. I live in the Northeast with an average snowfall of 200inches annually. I power walk everyday in these boots and they have been tested through snow and extreme cold as well as ice. They are true to size. Highly recommended.
I was kind of nervous at first for paying so much for a snow boot, but seriously this is the best investment I have ever made. They really are the softest and most comfortable shoe. whatever padding they have at the bottom always feels like you are walking on pillows. I have a bad back and it does not stress it out. Besides that they keep my feet warm, dry and really do protect against the cold. They are true to size. Overall I would buy this shoe again. I am considering a back up...too bad they don't sell them in brown or they would be perfect!
What is the "grippage" like on the soles of these boots? Chicago is one big skating rink, right now, and every winter I wipeout spectacularly walking to the train...
These have pretty dang good grippage! Nothing is fool proof with ice but these are really good. I've been to Chicago in the winter, skated and wadded myself up too.Happy skating!
Best boots ever! I love these boots. I have always had trouble keeping my feet warm and dry and these work great! I tell everyone they feel like you are walking on a cloud. Love them.
Easy on, easy off. Always toasty -- even in the snow without socks (I'm a rebel)!! I love my boots and I'll have them forever. Incredibly well made, even if they're a bit funky looking.
Keep tripping over my own feet since I started to wear them. Hard to fit these babies in the back seat of a car. Unless its a Buick. Adds about 10 sizes to your feet. But they're warm.
I was so excited to get a great deal on these boots by Sorel. I've read the reviews and was nervous - but they seemed so cute in the picture that I had to try for myself. LOVE THEM! Okay, so if you're looking for a slenderizing boot for your foot, this isn't it - but if you're looking for a low, flat, stable boot that rivals the comfort of a slipper and keeps you toasty warm... this is it.
They're super easy to cinch down if you're going to be on serious terrain, but they don't loosen easily to get off so I leave them a little looser if I'm shopping. The good news is that you'll figure out the trick after trying to get out of them a few times.
When I first tried them on I was nervous that they were too small, but after lots of toe-checking - I realized that what I was feeling was the new-bulk of the shearling lining. After wearing them a couple of times, I no longer have any anxiety that these are too small. They fit true to size with a normal sock. If you wish to wear a heavy sock - I'd suggest ordering 1/2 size up.
These are really cute and comfy. I highly recommend them. But honestly - if you are phobic about a wide looking boot, don't waste your time on these. They're not "sporty" - they're "cute" and Eskimo-ish. Also, they have a low tread pattern and won't track loads of snow inside. Very nice for the urban environment.
These boots are A Number One. I looked all over for boots that are warm, water proof and look cool. These ones are it, there is no break in period they feel like slippers and are very cushie. I think the best part is the fuzzy stuff is inside the boot too, not just around the top. I get complimented every time I wear them. Yesterday it was about 10 degrees and I was warm all day with just a thin pair of socks. I could go on and on, buy them.
