Sorel Kaska Boot - Women's - 2008

Sorel made the Women’s Kaska Boot with real shearling wool, waterproof suede, and a low-profile crepe outsole for days in New York City or Telluride. The removable, shearling-lined EVA footbed makes it easy to air these stylin’ boots out after a long stroll into town. A top-of-the-foot strap adds detail and ties at the side of this soft boot, and the wool cuff looks sweet when you tuck the bottoms of your jeans into the boot.

Bottom Line: Going into the city, into Sundance, or just across the street? Grab the Kaskas.

I just got a pair and they fit pretty true to size. Depending on the brand, I wear a 6.5 or a 7 in all types of shoes. North Face I'm a 6.5 and these I am a 7, with room for a thicker sock. (but no need for a thicker sock cuz they're so woolly and cozy inside) So if you are like me with a foot on the verge of sizes than I'd go with the bigger of the two sizes you might normally wear.

love these boots

These boots are a dream.. I just love them.I have very sensitive feet due to poor circulation.. and they are a bit tight around the ankle to get on.. but once on.. they are bitchen. So comfy, great arch support and my feet dont get super hot..which is great if you are meno'ing and prone to hot flashes like me..hahaha.I just hope the seams dont give out like someone else mentioned in a review..that would be a bummer.

These boots are made for walkin'

By:
December 9, 2008

As soon as I put them on Iknew I'd like them! The ankle is a bit of a tight squeeze to get the foot in, but once on they're very comfortable. I walk to work in the snowy winter of Michigan's U.P. and have discovered that the traction is not terrific when it's icy, but mostly in my part of the country I'm making my way through snow and for that the boots are just fine.

not great

By: Backcountry.com Employee
November 29, 2008

got them for my girlfriends birthday. They looked great when I got them, seemed to be very good quality. She loved how they looked but did notice that they were very slim around the ankle so were difficult to get onto the foot. Once they were on she said they were very comfortable and warm. Pretty disappointed though because after she wore them for about a week the seam along the back of the ankle pulled apart. For boots this expensive it doesn't seem like this is something that should happen.

Hi. I got a pair of Sorel Joan of Arc Boots in size 8 and they were big on me. Would an 8 in these boots fit better, or should I go with a 7?
