Living in Crested Butte, CO, these boots are indispensable. I have been wearing them almost everyday lately as we have been getting feet and feet of snow (no complaints here!!!). I bought them a half size too small and was glad I did as they packed out a bit. They were very comfortable from the start with almost no break in period. I would recommend these boots to anyone!!

We just moved from NC to Germany and so I needed to stock up on winter gear and boots were first on the list. I did some on-line "window" shopping and read lots of reviews on these boots and decided to try them. Well, they were worth the effort! I wore them today for the first time and it was a pretty good test since we got snow last night and it's in the upper 20's and low 30's. They kept my feet toasty warm! They are unbelievably comfortable! (and I always have cold and sort feet) They look great and are not bulky or heavy to walk in. I got them in green and love the color. I can't wait to try them out when we go sledding, skiing and to Prague over Christmas. I highly, highly recommend them! And the price is a steal!

My wife bought this boot for our sled and hike trip and she really loves it. It was comfortable enough to wear all day, it kept her warm AND she liked how it looked.

Not knowing what to expect from the cold Cambridge weather, I got this boots and I have to say I am more than pleased with them. Warm and comfy !! maybe a bit heavy for long walks, but overall great boots !

Let me add that the boot is true to size. I ordered the size I normally wear (7.5) and they fit great. I also have a narrow foot and the fit is fine. I could even go with heavy socks and they'd be OK.

These boots are warm and comfortable. They fit true to size. My toes get cold very easily and I needed a pair of boots that would keep them warm and dry in northern Minnesota - these do the trick. The only drawback is the lacing; it is sometimes a challenge to lace them up tightly as the laces slip out of the top rings easily.

This is a great boot! Lightweight to wear and keeps the toes very warm. Extremely happy with these as when its icy outside, the boot does not slip under you. Comfortable, fit is true to size. Even can where a thicker sock. I was not familiar wearing Sorel brand boots,so was aprehensive but when the boot arrived my husband said Sorel boots are the best - he wears the brand in Antarica. Go figure. Great buy and very happy

The good fairy brought these boots to be for Christmas this year and not a moment too soon! Its has been cold and snowy and my kids have been hankering to nail me with a snowball but poor mama couldn't go out to play because of a lack of boots... no longer! These have become a staple of my winter wardrobe - comfortable enough to do housework in and warm and dry enough to romp in the snow with the kids. They are light, they are warm (big deal for a cold hater like me), and they keep my tootsies dry as a bone. Can't say anything but, get some!

I bought these boots mostly to trek around the large, cold, and snowy UW-Madison campus and I can say that there has not been a day in the past two weeks when I have said: Uhh! I hate having to wear my snow boots! I love these boots. They are warm and water resistant (unlike the UGGs that are so popular right now) and don't look horrible either. I can make it through an eight hour days of classes and my feet do not hurt at then end of the day either: definitely a plus. These boots are not heavy to walk in like some heavy-duty boots are.

I looked everywhere for some nice warm winter boots. When I came across backcountry.com, they had the boots in my size, and the customer service made this purchase even better! Great customer service, and these boots are awesome. Very warm, and they keep your feet dry. I've always heard great things about Sorel, now I've got my own pair.

Very Happy and i'll be back, i've got some family members who want these now too.
