Smith Undertow Sunglasses - Polarized

The Undertow Sunglass from Smith will pull you in with its bold shape and sharp optics. Tempting lines belie the Undertow's brawny nature; its true strength lays in polarized lenses and black frames. Designed to drown your eyes with protection, the Undertow has a big frame profile and lenses that curve with your face. Complete UV absorption stops harmful rays from reaching your eyes and non-slip padding holds the Undertow in place as you tempt the tide or play by the pool.

Bottom Line: Get caught up in the Undertow.

Great Replacement for my Smith Zippers

By:

When I first became interested in Smith sunglasses, I was also attracted to the interchangeable lenses, but the quality and style of many of their non-interchangeable shades are great. The glasses fit me well and have received numerous compliments.

Good performance and nice looking

I chose these because they perform pretty well and stay on my head well while running, biking and playing tennis, yet they still have a nice look to them for just wearing around town.

I own a number of different Smith's with their Brown Polarized lens, and the brown lens is quite dark; especially once your put it on your face. That said, it isn't a complete "blackout" lens if that's what you're looking for - for some comparable shade with even darker lenses, check out the Oakley Eyepatch: http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Oakley-Eyepatch-Sunglasses/OAK1127M.html

Great - for someone else

Wonderful glasses, but sit way close. Longer eyelashes rub the lenses creating blur right where you want to look. Wish the bridge was a little more narrow.

Great replacement for my Smith Empire Polarized Sunglasses

By: Backcountry.com Alumni
March 24, 2008

I've looked for a long time to find a replacement for my Smith Empire glasses, and these did the trick. I don't even mind that the lenses aren't interchangeable. They are light and don't have a large blind spot.
