Smith Twin Tip Cell/iPod Audio Accessory Kits - 2007

Ride to your favorite tunes or talk to friends using the Smith Skullcandy Twin Tip Cell Phone and iPod Link. You can listen to your tunes, and then use the inline control unit to switch between your music and phone calls. A standard audio jack lets you bring along your CD or MP3 player, and multiple phone jacks fit most cell phones. With a super sensitive hands-free microphone, you won't bug others on the lift by yelling into your handset, you'll just look nuts. *Universal Adaptor, Siemens Adaptor, Nokia Pop Port Adaptor, Sony Ericsson Adaptor and Motorola Adaptor included.

Bottom Line: Call in sick'ter from the slopes with the Smith Skullcandy Twin Tip Cell Phone and iPod Link.

Great, be careful if you want to use it with a phone

It's a wonderful product BUT it doesn't work on cell phones, as advertised on this website, at least not on mine. I spoke with Smith Optics, and they are coming out with one that does within the year. They are great on customer service. Best bet, wait if you want to use this with one of those wonderful cell phones that works as your "ipod". That way you get the phone call while you are listening to music, and your music temporarily suspends. Then, when your caller hangs up, you are skiing once again to Michael Jackson or Stravinsky. No more stopping and fiddling with your gloves in the cold, freezing fingers and holding up the crew you are skiing with while you are handling your calls. It's fantastic.

Iphone does not work as a phone on it. I even tried adapting the small cell phone jack down to the 4 pole iphone jack with a 4 pole iphone jack splitter (if that makes any sense). It ends up getting the ring from the call through but pressing the button to answer does nothing. I think the mic was working fine but everything else does not work with the iphone.

I plugged the 35mm jack into my iPhone (3G). If you set the phone to vibrate, it will ring to your headphones and the microphone will work, but they are not very loud. You do, however, have to pick up and hang up the phone manually.
