When you walk outside after a day at work, enjoy the beautiful sunny day instead of squinting all the way home in the Smith's Serpico Sunglasses. Tapered lens technology and advanced carbonic materials allows the Serpico's to have its cool curved shape without compromising your vision, so you can drive home safely. The Serpico's polarized features block 99% of reflective glare, so even if your windshield has some annoying reflection, your glasses won't. The aviator style with a large-sized wire frame give you sick style so you can seductively pull them down shoot a confident wink to your cute neighbor at the next red light.
Bottom Line: Smiths come in all shapes and sizes; the Serpico makes a stellar fit for you.
The Serpico's are one of Smith's most legendary eyewear pieces, and also among my personal favorites. They are one of Smith's best sellers, and the reason is the fit and performance is second to none. I use these specifically for driving and have been know to rock them at an outdoor concert or two. pick up a pair... you won't be disappointed!
These shades are not only super comfy, they stay on surprsingly well. I flay ultimate in them, and as long as i have a bandana on they are solid. only downfall is they are kind of fragile, the hinges come out of square pretty easily.
Bought these for my boyfriend but maybe shouldn't have - these glasses are hot! They look good on a variety of face shapes - pretty much everyone we know wants to try them on. I may have to buy myself a pair!
As a strict oakley man growing up I bought the serpico's on a whim when i couldn't find any oakleys that I liked and figured what the heck. I own the oakley crosshair's but didn't have them with me at the time of my new purchase. These are way cool glasses great looking and feel great! I bought the regular lens at te time and liked them so much that i just got my polorized lenses today. Only one bad thing is that it is shown on the web-site as coming with the smith snap case which it does not actually come with!
You can't beat Smiths Polar Brown lens. I have owned three pairs of different smith shades (Vice, Toaster and Serpicos) and the PB lens is stunning. As far as the Serpicos are concerned, best pair of glasses I have ever owned. The slight curve in the frame/lens really makes these suitable for faces of all sizes. Upon breaking my Vices by accident, I sent them back and got these as a replacement (due to the vices being discontinued). Thanks to their killer customer service, I was only out $30 or so out of pocket. I'm in the process of getting the polarized silver..
I bought these 3 months ago in the polarized gold/brown and have worn them almost every day. These are the best glasses I have ever owned. They block the sun, are comfortable and they look great too. The hinges seem like they could be a little fragile, but I haven't had any problems yet.
These Smith's are absolutely incredible. I bought a pair for myself and my wife loved them and they looked so good on her that she bought her own pair. The lenses contour to the face and create a great viewing experience. They also fit very snug on the face. I would recommend these to anyone
I have owned a lot of aviators in the past but these take the cake. Great construction, perfect size, they look great. They are also durable. I own two pair. But if they do break, Smith has great customer service. One of my pair broke and I sent them back to the manufacturer. I had a new pair in the mail in less than two weeks.
I picked these up for vacation and they worked perfectly for keeping the African sun out of my eyes, driving, game spotting on safari and looking cool while walking the trendy streets of Nairobi, Addis Ababa, and Zanzibar. Only complaint is that the arms on the glasses started to scratch the inside of my lens but I'll order another pair and get the hard case to fix that ... you gotta get a pair
Awesome shades. The lenses aren't quite as dark as I had hoped but hey, you can't complain, these glasses fit so comfy. Definately recommended. FYI: The gold model DOES NOT come with the hard case, only the silver ones do. Something they probably should put on the description...
I work in northern Sudan and I picked these up on my last break (my Smith District II's finally had it after 5 years). These are excellent shades, providing great coverage for aviators. They seem to be holding up to the rough environment so far but definitely not as tough as some heavier plastic frame shades. I'd still recommend them; they just need a little extra care.
Best aviators I've ever worn. Wrap around nicely and won't let any light in the top, bottom, or sides. Hinges feel like they might wear out after a while but otherwise great!
Very classy, solid build quality. They are aviator-style which tend to wrap around the face. Polarized is the way to go, especially for driving. Definitely bring about that "I look so damn cool" feeling when putting them on.
I LOVE these sunglasses!! I have a small face, so I normally have a disastrous time finding sunglasses that don't look ridiculous on me. And finding the perfect pair of aviators is even harder, b/c if you don't get the right pair, you look silly. The first pair I bought were the spy wilshire sunglasses - the lenses were too big for me. These are perfect for my small face - the lenses are the perfect size and shape, and the slight wrap makes them look updated from the 1980s, and even better at protecting your eyes. I bought the gold/polarized brown lens and they look SO HOT with a little sun dress, a couple pieces of small jewelry and flip flops - like you just threw something on in the morning, but totally put-together. And they are not "girly" in any way - I believe they are a unisex style. These are my second pair of smith sunglasses (I also highly recommend the shoreline!) and I think I may be a life-long customer. I only wish they came with a hard case.
The best glasses I've owned in years. They look, work and fit great; even with my big head. Spend the extra bucks and get the polarized lenses as I did. They don't fit the shirt pocket well because of the curved lenses but the visual performance of these glasses make them well worth the money.
