Smith Sequel 2 Sunglasses - Interchangeable - 2006
The innovative Smith Interchangeable Sequel 2 Sunglasses are a fusion of street fashion and sport performance. Their side-sliding design offers sleek fashion appeal while the interchangeable lens system lets you change the lens with changing light conditions. Smith made these sporty sunglasses with a super durable TR90 Grilamid frame that stands up to your hardcore adventures. The Sequel 2 Sunglasses offer TLT Carbonic lenses, which resist scratches, so you can have a clear view season after season. *See sizing chart for lens information.
Bottom Line: Slide to the side when you wear the Smith Interchangeable Sequel 2 Sunglasses.
These are great glasses except for guys with wider faces!! They proved to be just too small to be really comfortable. Could wear them OK, but it looked like I had stolen my kid's glasses. My wife, on the other hand looked great in them and was happy to have a new set of glasses.
Seems like the sizing info provided was not really accurate.
The new Sequel Slider not only looks and feels great, but is easy to use. The lenses switch out easily. I've biked, golfed and ran in them and they are similar to the Toaster. They're perfect!
These are probably the most comfortable glasses I've ever owned. Super lightweight, and sleek looking. Coming straight out of the slider family, these glasses are well worth the investment for anyone with a small face who wants some awesome all-around shades. For those who like this style but have a big noggin - check out the District.
I don't know if I am totally sold on the style of the sunglasses. When I received them they looked a little different from the pics on the Internet. They may look a little girlish (I should have known from the description saying that they are the 'little sister' to the Districts). Anyway that is only my opinion. The sunglasses themselves are practical in that you have a multitude of different lenses for different light conditions, which is awesome. The lenses truly have no distortion. They are very light and really 'stick' to your face.
I have been a huge Smith fan for several years and have had other Smith glasses in the past. The Slider Series however stand alone. They are truly the most comfortable glasses I have ever worn. Whether I am driving around or golfing with them they stay on your face and stay put and you don't even realize you are wearing them. I love them!
I like these shades because the lenses are interchable, a major plus. However, for my face shape I wish they were more rectangular shaped instead of coming in at an angle on the bottom half of the lens.
I have a small-medium face and these glasses fit perfect, love them! I previously owned a pair of Toasters for the last 6 years, and they have a similar size fit to these. The rubber bumpers on the ear/nosepiece ensure 100% non-slippage. And not to mention the style, these look sick! And oh BTW, you can change lenses, so make this your last pair of shades, period.
I've had a pair of these glasses for a year and absolutely love them! When I lost them and couldn't find a replacement in the local shops I went online. Not only did this site have the best price I found anywhere, they were delivered to my house about 18 HOURS after I ordered them - now that's fast! I would definitely order from this site again - keep up the great work!
I like changing the lenses as light conditions change. It could be a little easier but works well once you're used to it. Same great quality as all the other Smith's I've owned.
I love these shades! The lenses are super easy to change, and you never feel like you're going to break the frames sliding lenses in or out. They offer full coverage and great peripheral vision. I never thought sunglasses could be so light. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. Then I think I've lost them until someone points out that they're on my face. That's kind of embarrassing.
