Smith Factor D-Max Sunglasses - Polarized - Interchangeable - 2006

Extra-large coverage and a medium fit in the Smith Factor Max D Polarized Sunglasses give you a clear view of the putting green, road, or trail. These sunglasses come with three sets of lenses. If it's cloudy and you're heading out for a bike ride, just swap the polarized set for the clear one to keep the wind out of your eyes. Smith made the Max D Polarized Sunglasses with hydrophilic Megol nose pads and temple ends which become tacky when you sweat so your sunglasses stay in place.

Bottom Line: Line up the winning putt or scream down the road on your motorcycle with the Smith Factor Max D Polarized Sunglasses crystal-clear optics.

Great Biking Glasses

By:
February 4, 2009

I wear these with the clear lens for my 5:00am bicycle rides. I have worn them on rides as long as 3 hours. I never know they are there. I have a largish head. I have not sweat much in them yet as we are having an unusually cold winter here in Florida. The lenses are easy to change and seem to hold very securely. I would highly recommend these. My best purchase yet from Chain Love....

Best sunglasses I've ever owned

Great fit, stay put, easy to change the lenses and good variety for changing conditions. They cover well and close without rubbing on my eyelashes. have faceplanted with them on and no damage done, lenses stayed in.

Great Glasses

By:

Tonnes of bang for the buck. The frames/lenses are very light, stick great to your face and are very clear/distortion free. However, they do tend to fog up a bit when your sweating and its cool out. I use them mainly for mountain biking. They offer great coverage, block all the wind and allow me to pick a lens which is appropriate for the light conditions. If I could do it again I would maybe opt for the Max instead (slightly less coverage) Overall, very satisfied. 4.5 Cheers~

Great Runoff Control, Too!

By:

High quality lenses, good range of shade, and excellent corner coverage. But the best feature is that having the frame on the inside of the lens means that sweat doesn't run down the lens as it does with my other glasses - it's diverted onto my skin. These are the best bang for the buck I've found in years.

These are comfortable, yet durable. The ability to change lenses quickly is a great benefit.

I'm not going to tell you to buy

By:

I have a huge head and a large nose. Finding sunglasses that don't pinch my head and will fit on my nose are rare. Adding in the interchangeable lens its a good deal. Nose pads are great at keeping the glasses in place even in the hot sweaty mix of the action. Cheers, Simmonsfield...

Sweet!

By:

Originally I bought these because they looked good. The interchangeable lenses were a bonus that I have come to appreciate numerous times out on the lakes in Maine where changeing light conditions are constant. I also like the way Smith sizes a bunch of lenses on the same frame to give flexibility to those of us out there with oddly sized or dare I say shaped heads. I love these sunglasses and when I lose them again I will buy another pair.

Long Eye Lashes

By:
September 18, 2008

Overall a very good pair of shades that offer comfort and good coverage.
One thing that i face with most shades is that my long eye lashes tend to smudge the lens after a short duration of usage.
Wish the nose pads could bring the lens further away from my eyes to make it perfect.

Perfect

These shades are killer for anyone with a medium to large sized face. The visual clarity is amazing, way less distortion than I'm used to. The lens coverage is a large factor in this and they also block out the wind very well. Stupid easy to change the lenses in the glasses too, takes a few seconds. If you ride a bike these will make your life a whole lot easier. Next time you find yourself on the top of some huge hill after dark just pop in your other lenses and go. No more punishing your eyes for your sunglasses' lack of multiple lenses!
