Smith Chamber Sunglasses - Polarchromic

When you don't want to mess with tons of interchangeable lenses, slip on the Smith Polarchromic Polarized Chamber Sunglasses—they'll adapt to changing light conditions and keep your vision glare-free. Smith gave the TLT Techlite Glass Lenses Polarchromic properties so they get darker when the sun comes out full force and lighter when it ducks behind the clouds. The Chamber Sunglasses are also polarized, so they'll keep glare at bay whether you're on the water or the road. The Grilamid TR90 frames stand up to your burliest adventures and the Hydrophilic Megol nosepads keep these large-coverage sunglasses in place, even when you work up a sweat.

Bottom Line: Forget all those cumbersome lenses. Get one pair of sunglasses that does it all—the Smith Polarchromic Polarized Chamber Sunglasses.

Function Over Form

By:
January 24, 2007

I'm very happy with these glasses so far. The only thing that kept me from rating them 5/5 is their appearance. I love the brown stripe color pattern, but they aren't lying when they say these glasses provide full coverage. The lenses were bigger than I anticipated, and they took me a while to get used to the look (I have a medium-sized head). However, if you're like me, function is MUCH more important than form, and these babies perform better than any glasses I've ever had. Lenses are great. Hefty price tag, but definitely worth it if you want a pair of sunglasses that WORKS like sunglasses should.

Gift for fisher/boater

By:
February 14, 2008

I got this as a present for my brother. He's an avid fisherman and boater in FL, so having polarized lenses is REQUIRED. The photochromic is just an added bonus. He said he really likes the tint - it's even good in lower lighting settings (dusk etc). My brother also has a big problem finding sunglasses that fit him (he's got a very wide face) and these fit the first go.

this glasses are pretty sweet. but too big for my head. good coverage, nice design and the photochromatic lenses are sweet. these are good if you got a big ass head, so I exchanged them for the photochromatic smith passage...tks laters.

Smith,Chamber Photochromatic Polarized Sunclasses

These Glasses are without a doubt the best I have ever used.I was a little concerned about the fit because I could not find a pair locally to try on,but they fit my broard head perfectly, with virtualy no gaps to let light in.The nose pads are extremely comfortable and grip well they definitely help to hold the glasses onto your face even through suntan lotion.I have just returned from the Northern Territory ,in extreme heat and humidity, chasing Barramundi.Did well capturing and releasing a lot of fish over a metre long. Trip lasted a week, and they were an asset to my fishing in that I was able to sight baitfish with ease in various changing light conditions. My fishing partners were wearing other brands of glasses[one brand a polarphoto type]and my Smiths outperformed them hands down.Could not be happier. Also, thank you for prompt service to Australia. Regards John.
