SmartWool Ski Racing Light Sock - 2006

Whether you are a pro or just want a sock that fits like a pro, the SmartWool Ski Racing Light Sock is for you. These ultralight socks are cushioned in the shin and heel to help prevent shin-bang, but are thin with flat seams for the best feel in tight-fitting boots. SmartWool's blend of wool and synthetic fibers keeps your feet dry, warm, and comfortable and offers maximum durability. The SmartFit system ensures these socks flex and move with you rather than bunch or wrinkle.

Bottom Line: Prevent boot bang in your super-tight boots—get the SmartWool Ski Racing Light Sock.

Good socks, but a little thick for "racing light"

By:

These socks are definitely a lot thicker than I expected. I have a pair of Lorpens that are super-thin and light and these are definitely more what I would consider midweight. They're good, but don't expect super-thin.

Best ever

Smartwool thin...used to use mid-weight (when I was a nube). Thin is the way to go...improves fit and circulation...actually warmer than thicker. Awesome fit...comes to right up under your knees...high enough to tuck in your boot cut base layer. Possible sock of the year...if I had my say. Merino keeps down stink...avoid synthetics like the plaque if possible. You will love this sock.

Perfect Sock for Skiing

By:

Socks are very thin, with just enough padding. I would like to try the medium weight sock, but these socks have proven excellent. I have used them in temperatures from 25 to 55 degrees.

Great Socks

By:

These socks keep my feet dry all day long. I pull them off at the end of the day and can't believe how dry my feet are. These are fantastic socks and I highly recommend them. Having dry feet all the time now has helped tremendously with my boot stink. My buddies even let my boots ride in the car on the way home now! A few sprays of drying boot powder mixed with these socks have completely solved my boot stink problems.

Must Have

These socks are so nice to my tired, tired feet that spend hours jammed into boots that are too small. They are great for keeping your feet warm without too much bulk. The Merino wool feels awesome!

Superlight Super Awesome

Superlight socks are the way to go, the padding on the shin helps against shin bang. Super thin Merino keeps your feet warm. They don't stink even after a few days. These socks are a nice way to get a thin sock and keep your ski boot fit dialed in.
