Present for the wife-Great choice

I bought a pair of these for my wife and a pair for me (men's version) for our ski trip. They were outstanding. They kept our feet warm and dry while remaining breathable. Very comfortable and not too thick.

Wool is the best way to go. These socks are durable, warm, well padded, and are really comfortable in my ski boots. They wear well and don't shown many signs of breaking down from overuse or washing machine abuse.

SmartWool PHD Ski Mid Sock- Women's

We recently went skiing for the first time even in Chamonix France. We live in the Cayman Islands where the average temperate is 80 degrees so being cold was a major worrier for my whole family. I purchased these socks for all the women in the group (4) and they were fantastic. I used them every day and even just with my regular boots. I highly recommend them. My feet never felt cold and they were true to fit.

Smartwool is the Best

Having always worn Smartwool socks for their incredible comfort and wicking abilities, I purchased a few pairs for my wife. New to the sport of skiing, and afraid of having cold feet while in ski boots.....she tried her first pair of Smartwool ski socks. It is now year 6 in her skiing life....and she has never complained of cold, wet feet. She is a confirmed believer in Smartwool. Our family will never buy anything else...Smartwool is the best.

I don't ski, but use these socks with my boots when I ride my motorcycle. They feel good and cushion my feet while sitting in the saddle on long distant rides. Wish I had some years ago!
