My husband has a large head- and really wants a hat that will cover his ears. Can you give me the measurement of this hat from the top of the hat to the edge? Thanks

I just pulled mine off my head and measured it. It's 8 inches top to bottom edge. I don't have a man-sized head but the beanie covers all but the bottom 1/2 inch of my ears. Hope that helps!

I've worn this beanie half a dozen times since I bought it and I'm really liking it. The colors are bright and happy and the merino wool is so warm. Perfect for a chilly day out. The only bad things about the beanie are that it rides up a little and I have to pull it back over my ears occasionally, and the wool was a little itchy the first couple times I wore it. It's not anymore though. Great beanie overall. Smartwool is awesome!
