Don’t let the size of the Skullcandy Titan Bud Headphones fool you. This tiny headphone is actually a musical juggernaut of epic proportions, ready to boom high-quality sound directly into your dome. The metal housing features a precision 11mm speaker, and Skullcandy included three sizes of silicon ear pieces to customize your fit.
For the price (on sale), these headphones are a good deal. The sound is clear and the buds are pretty comfortable, though I find the medium size option to be a bit big. I don't care for the volume adjuster on the headphone chord - about a third of the way down the line - I think it adds a bit of weight and tends to pull on things.
The audio is pretty amazing, I must say. Once seated properly in your ears, the bass is quite booming, and the cord doesn't tangle like the rubber iPod headphones. They do make a slight noise when brushing up against your clothes etc., but I just turn up the music louder, ha.
Pretty good buds, better sound quality than the ipod earphones. A little overpriced however and a little hard to get used to. Not a bad pair of earbuds though.
I picked these up off Whiskeymilitia.com for $23 and love them. They were well worth the money spent. Skullcandy is a great brand for audio accessories and they make high quality stuff. These headphones sound really great. I especially like how when they seal in your ear, therefore also sealing out all the outside/background noise around you. So you could be in downtown NYC, or mowing the lawn for example, and not have to have your headphones cranked up blasting your eardrums out all the time, trying to drown out all the background noise. However, when you do crank up the tunes, they perform wonderful as well. The bass in them for earbuds, I would rate 8/10 and the treble 9/10. They sound crystal clear and are well worth the price tag. Unless you're one of those super picky audio people, who picks apart how every little thing sounds as if they're some professional, you're gonna love these. They're the best earbuds I've ever listened to for under $50.
good ear buds for the price. i got a lot of outside noise while listening to my favorite beats (in a topless jeep). if your wicked pickey about hearing only the music these may not be for you. they are not sound cancelling by any means. comfy and good quality material make up for the lack of db.
My ipod standard headphones broke on my so I had been the market for some new in ear ones. Always been skeptical about paying a bunch for headphones, but these looked pretty sweet. I got the Green and White ones (Go State) off Tramdock for about $20. Great for the price. Really crisp sounds. Bass isn't that good, but what do you expect from headphones. Just watched 300 on my laptop and it gets the job done. Great noise cancellation too, can't wait to use them on the plane.
With excitement, I just pulled these out of the package, ready to replace my trashed and rubberless iPod earphones. Not even one song has passed, and I'm realizing my overpriced mistake. The cords... every little touch or brush against them (say, swinging while I shift 1/2" to the left) is transmitted, loud, directly into my ear. The sound quality of the speakers themselves is pretty good. These are perfect for the silver-painted mime I saw whose routine was standing stalk-still except for the occasional wave or wink to pretty girls who threw money in his hat. The rubber bud-things don't block all sound, but enough that I feel like somebody could be sneaking up on me right now.
I wanted to find something that would block out surrounding noise so that I could listen to school lectures on mass transit. These work great! They put me in my own little world. I would recommend these earbuds to anyone.
