Skullcandy Holua Bud Headphones

The best musical instruments are made from wood, so it makes sense that the Skullcandy Holua Bud Headphones are too. These precision earbuds use naturally resonating wood to pass premium vibrations directly to your dome. Skullcandy also included a crafty wood carrying case and three sizes of silicon adapters for the perfect fit.

Don't let the wood fool you... these things bite!

I love backcountry, don't get me wrong this in no way reflects their great customer service or gear knowledge which in my opinion surpasses all others. For the life of me however, I can not believe they are still selling these head phones to us gear heads. The wood lured me in and I've felt completely ripped off. Skullcandy has dropped the ball, the sound quality is so bad... I mean sooo bad. I read mixed reviews before purchasing, but that carved wood made me cast other reviews aside. Please trust me, these aren't even worth $50. Here's hoping backcountry keeps their standards high and gets rid of these things. Buy the skullcandy FMJ's, they sound great! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR SHIPPING MONEY!

I'm wearing a pair of them right now and I do not see why you're complaining about the sound quality so aggressively. I find bass to be very deep without getting muddy and mids are quite clear too.

I'll admit that when I take these off and put on say a pair of Bose triports it becomes apparent that the high's are not as crisp as they could have been but if you're using these for modern music (which tends to be bass heavy anyway), then it's non-issue.
