Six Six One N8-6 Bomber Short

The Six Six One N8-6 Bomber Shorts use closed-cell foam padding to take the bite out of missed trannies, failed rail attempts, and not-quite complete 720s. These lightweight padded shorts fit comfortably under your shell pants for any ride where you want to push your limits. Six Six One made the N8-6 Bomber Shorts with a combination of mesh and nylon for great breathability.

Bottom Line: Progress without the pain thanks to the Six Six One N8-6 Bomber Shorts.

Saved my butt!

Highly recommended for new snowboarders. Totally protects hips tailbone, butt so that all you have to worry about is riding. Just a reminder, may need larger snow pants to accommodate.

I purchased these Impact shorts and they are great. However I've worn them on the hill a few times and well... it's time they get a wash. They do not have washing instructions on a tag and they didnt come with any. How do I ge them clean?

They are probably hand wash cold only but...they are considered impact clothing so they should hold up to the abuse of a washing machine right?

Great for snowboarding

By:
November 17, 2008

I was originally a skier and just converted to snowboarding. When you catch an edge it is very painful. With these pants, I can get up immediately and keep boarding.

They struck a good balance of not too thick but well padded. I wouldn't want them to be any more/less thick. They can easily fit underneath my boarding pants and they are barely noticeable. Well worth the $40 to be able to sit without pain after a long session of boarding.

These are a little bulky compared to other impact shorts on the market like the Fox Launch Shorts (Item #FXR0017) but they don't restrict movement. Impact shorts are one of the best investments I've made. They can save you're bacon and a lot more.

Either get a small or a medium. Six Six One gear runs a little on the snug side, so give yourself a little room.
