Silvretta Pure Ski Brake - 2005

The Silvretta Pure Ski Brake lets you know that your skis will stay where you left them. The Brake attaches easily to your Silvretta Pure, 555 or 500 AT bindings, and it engages to stop the ski when your boot is released. It's available in both 80 and 90mm, so make sure you check your ski's waist width before ordering.

brake not as advertised

This product is listed as 500/550/Pure ski brake. I have a pair of 500 easy-go bindings and asked a rep before purchasing if they knew if this product would be compatible with my binding type. They were not sure, so I took a chance. It turns out the easy-go 500 is not compatible with this product, there isn't a way to mount the brake to the binding. So if you're looking for a brake for your older Silvretta bindings, stick with the leash.
