Steelworks Sigg Bottle

the metal ring on the cap is better than plastic one on the aluminum ones; it moves and does not bet scratched after repeated hanging. The bottle as of know has been dropped to many times to count has scratches all over it, but no dents unlike my old aluminum one.

My Kleen Kanteen is horribly dented from being dropped a few times. Is the Sigg more resistant to dents or about the same?

Pretty much the same. I've also found the siggs scratch easier.

The best part about this bottle is the lid. Way better than the plastic ones.

Will this Steelworks water bottle keep fluids hot for a short

Will this Steelworks water bottle keep fluids hot for a short duration --30 min. to 1 hr?

STG - I'd recommend a double-walled bottle. I've tried coffee in my Sigg, stays "warm" for a very short duration. However without a double wall the bottle also gets becomes hot to handle.

It should keep liquids at the very least warm, but has no thermal insulation, so it isn't lasting long.

Solid water bottle

I just got my Sigg Steelworks bottle and it is sick. I ordered the black for myself and the green for the lady. I definitely like the black better. The black is more of a matte color, and the green is shiny. I ordered the Sigg bottle because the threading for the cap looks like it was designed better than the kleen kanteen bottles. I am very pleased with the product, and the threading on the cap and bottle ensures zero leakage. I am giving it 4 stars because after I ordered it, I found out it is made in China instead of Switzerland.
