SealLine HP Map Case - 2009

A waterproof map case isn’t any good if it gets washed out of your boat and carried away by the current. The SealLine HP Map Case’s adjustable neck strap and tie-down tabs give you multiple securing options. Slip your map inside, roll the top down, and attach the case to your boat or lifejacket. The HP can withstand a quick submersion and will float in water.

everything I wanted in a mapcase

Excellent case. I used it in a 12 hour ROGAINE. Well made, comfortable adjustable strap, nice clear view (even when using a white light at night). No complaints. Loved the roll top design, no "zip" locks to mess with.

I will be using this in future races and recommend it highly.

Are the given dimensions inside measure or outside measure?

Are the given dimensions inside measure or outside measure? In other words, when it says 8 x12, does it mean you can put an 8 x 12 map inside (without folding).

I just got off running the Green River through Desolation at 22,000 CFS in an IK. The SealLine map case kept the maps dry, well secured, easily readable and accessible, even though it was dangling in water much of the trip. This is the best mapcase I've had in 30 years of boating.
