Sea To Summit Toaster Microfleece Sleeping Bag Liner

Sea To Summit designed the Toaster Microfleece Liner to work as a heat booster for your sleeping bag on chilly nights in camp, or as a lightweight sack for travel and warm nights on the trail. Made from soft polyester microfleece, the Toaster features a contoured mummy shape with a drawcord hood and a side zipper.

Bottom Line: Add some extra degrees to your bag or slumber in warm temps with the Toaster.

Too bulky

This liner is definitely sufficient and I'm not knocking it. However the size is a bit cumbersome for those of us who need space in their packs. If you're more into recreational type camping rather than backpacking, then this will work well. Backpackers try a silk liner. I'd say you'll get an extra 5-7 degrees of warmth from this one. However, if you're doing some summer backpacking, you can cut out the sleeping bag all together to use this.

Like it.

When i used it as a liner made me feel very confined in my sleeping bag. But putting sleeping bag inside of liner made me feel less confined and still kept the sniffles away. Using it in the mountains of Afghanistan.

How small can it roll up for packing? At just over a pound it

How small can it roll up for packing? At just over a pound it must be smaller than the picture makes it seem.
I am going on a Cavalcade and we supposedly have half a saddle bag to pack our gear in. Thanks.

Multi Use

I bought this to be "better safe than sorry" for a first time camping experience where my total gear was limited. I wound up using this as my pillow. I thank Back Country for some great advise and great gear!

What a Champ!

I used this as my sleeping bag during a hot and humid eight-day trek through the Ouachitas where the nighttime temperatures hung right around 75. This liner was more than sufficient as a bag! Plus, it is small and fairly light weight.

Great for travel, if you have room in your bag. Fleece can get a little hot but perfect for cooler seasons.
