Scott Binary Jacket - Women's

Zip up the Scott Women’s Binary Jacket for full protection on the mountain without the bulk. This Gore-Tex Paclite shell keeps you dry and warm and won’t weigh you down. Scott cut the Binary slim for an athletic fit, sealed all the seams to block water, and attached a fulltime hood for bad weather. Open up the armpit vents on warmer spring rides and stash your essentials in the water-resistant zippered pockets.

Bottom Line: Cut to move, built to protect.

Not for me

I returned this jacket. I'm 5'3 125 lbs and the small fit fine with room for layering, but it is just a shell! There isn't even any nylon lining in it. It didn't seem very durable to me. And there are only two pockets. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

A bit too big

By:
August 26, 2009

I really liked this jacket online and in person, very lightweight and cool material. I am 5'5 and have a pretty normal build and the small was way too big for my taste. The sleeves hung down almost to my fingernails and there was a lot of room around the waist and back areas of the jacket. If this is how you like your jacket to fit I would order your regular size, otherwise I would try a size down. Wish they carried extra smalls!

Nice jacket

Very saticfied with this jacket. I am 1.62 and relatively thin and small is just a perfect size for me. Nice colour as well. I have the jacket in white. It's not that white as it seems in the pic.

Does anyone know how it holds up to wearing it with a backpack on?
Has anyone worn it climbing and did that go well?

Pretty cool

I like this jacket. I have a small white, fits well, but could use a little room for more layers. Its not very warm on its own. great pit zips, and nice and light for touring.

Only downside is that I have owned two of them. I took a bad fall skiing on some rocks and tore the thing to pieces. Its not as burly as you'd think. I wouldn't recommend climbing in it, I guess.
