Scott Alias Limited Edition Goggles

Scott customized a few of their Motive goggles with sick paint and strap treatments, creating the Alias Limited Edition Collection. From the retro-lific Shmuck Taylor to the boozed up Pub Crawl and the debonair Tuxedo, these exclusive designs are focused on two things: protecting your eyes on the hill, and turning your friends green with jealousy.

Bottom Line: Where was I yesterday? Sending, detective. All freakin’ day.

Awesome fit

This is my all time favorite goggle. The design is real simple with plenty of styles. They fit the face real well and are more than comfortable. The peripheral view is great and there are multiple lens options.

Niseko Night Skiing

I used the Alias with the red Chrome lense for some epic night skiing sessions in Japan and it was awesome. There was plenty of visibility to work with. Almost prefer it over a clear lense.

Great fit for cabesa grande

These goggles fit very well on my large head. I have definitely had past trouble finding goggles that fit my head and face well. These goggles have a fairly wide frame and fit quite comfortably. They also fit very well with my smith helmet. Scott offers a wide variety of lenses but I would recommend the red chrome amplifier. It is bright enough to see the terrain on a flat light day but also blocks the UV rays like a champ. Highly recommended in my book. Choose from any of their steezy limited edition models.

Chrome lens is definitely great for sunny days, but I used it for some night skiing and it worked just fine. It is actually a pretty bright lens.

Love the Scott Alias. Mirrored lens is awesome in bright light...I use it for all conditions. Fits great with helmets (I use the Smith Variant Brim). I've never had a problem with the Alias getting iced over.

My go-to goggle

By: Backcountry.com Employee
December 8, 2008

The Alias goggle is what a goggle should be, simple styling, great fit and best of all the preform. Imagine that. To top it off, they do have some of the best graphic/treatment options, the Schmuck Taylor and the Pub Crawl are my fav's. The Chrome Amp lense is a great all around lense, that works great most of the time, the do have a low light lense, but is hard to get your hands on, I believe 1-800-PRO-LENS sells them.
