Scarpa T1 Lady Telemark Ski Boot - Women's

The Scarpa T1 Lady Telemark Ski Boot gives advanced female telemarkers the stiffness and control they crave inbounds or in the backcountry. Four buckles and a dual-density torsion frame lend this advanced tele boot the ability to drive the fattest ski in all conditions and the lateral stiffness to lay out big, arcing turns at high speeds. For powder days, Scarpa gave the T1 Lady Telemark Ski Boot a reduced rocker sole profile, which enhances edge-to-edge quickness as you weave in and out of the trees. While you might think a stiff boot would be uncomfortable, Scarpa's thermo-molded Intuition liner and asymmetrical bellows make the T1 Lady surprisingly cush, even after a full day of backcountry laps.

Bottom Line: Drive your fat boards through any snow.

This is an all day boot

By:

When I took up telly skiing, my husband could not figure it out. I explained that tlley to alpine was like fly fishing to spin casting . He then bought me these boots for Christmas. He so gets it now. When I wear these, I adjust them after my first run- tighten htem up a bit. Then they are good to go for the rest of the day. Even apres ski or tail gating after rippin' it up, I do not need to adjust or loosen. Definately go through the steps to have them fitted properly, it takes about 40 minutes, but worth it. Euro sizing is very true, do dont need to go up a size. One more suggestion: one pair of light merino socks is all you need.

are these significantly softer than the men's T1 or is it

are these significantly softer than the men's T1 or is it just a different last (ie. narrower foot)?

high performance

I was really stoked to see that Scarpa came out last year with the T1 lady boot. I have a super small foot but need a high performance boot and somehow I found my match.

I could go on and on about how killer this boot is. but first off let me tell you the couple of downsides:
1. the heal cup could be tighter
2. The thermo molded liner came unmolded in a couple of hard days, If you want a great liner buy a surefoot custom liner and footbeds.
thats it.

great aspects compared to scarpas T2 -
1. this boot is way higher, which gives you better performance and control on high velocity turns.
2. extra buckle (duh)

If you are killing it or a first time learner you will love these boots. If your a beginner (like I was) and wanted to buy a cheap boot to learn you will waste your money on other crap products, don't waste your time and money and be frustrated at the sport like I was. BUY THIS BOOT.

thats it these boots rock. if you need more convincing check out this link. but buy here for free shipping.

Liz,
I have a very small, narrow foot. Ladies size 5.5 or 6. I just purchased the T2 in a 22.5 but from your post it looks like I would prefer the T1. What size is your foot?

Hello there...I'm curious if these boots ever go on sale.

Hello there...I'm curious if these boots ever go on sale. I wear a size 22.5, which I have found to be a rare size (especially when the sales person will "give me a deal" and then...rats! of course, they don't have the size). Am I dreaming the dream of a fool? I am but a young lass and I need a deal! And I love these boots! Thanks for your time, SB

We all love a deal, especially us college kids that don't have 700 bucks for boots, but I can't recall seeing these on sale anytime recently. Fingers crossed.
