Scapegoat The Standard Insulated Jacket - Women's

Scapegoat doesn’t make anything below the highest possible standard. With that in mind, you can be sure The Standard Insulated Jacket is anything but. From its impeccable tailoring to the laundry list of advanced materials, fabrics, and construction techniques Scapegoat uses, this and every Scapegoat piece is a living lesson in ultra-premium outerwear. The highly breathable, wind- and water-resistant Standard Jacket has a classic, trim silhouette that will wear well into the next decade, all while keeping you surprisingly warm for its light weight and low bulk.

Bottom Line: The standard just went way up.

The perfect jacket for all situations

By:

My wife gave this jacket a solid 10, as she mentions its the perfect jacket to carry on a trip, not really heavy some insulation casual looking and above all the quality of the materials its great, she didn't experiment any issues with the length of the jacket or sleeves, the jacket has a fitted cut so its not puffy or make you look like a barrel.
Great for all casual outings

Okay as a casual jacket

I would have kept this jacket except for two things:
1. You can't raise your arms. When you do it bunches up around your collarbone and your navel is exposed.
2. The arms are too short when you move them at all. I'm only 5'6" with normal sized arms.

and maybe 3. The inner knit sleeve holes could be tighter, but that's only bad because the sleeves are short to begin with.

Again, would be okay around town, but I ride my bike everywhere. And I like my jacket to move with me even if I'm just reaching for celery in the grocery store.

Otherwise, loved the material - it's soft and has a kind of "matte" feel. The fit is slim - makes you look good :)
The neck hole was tall and tight enough to keep the wind out.
Pockets are comfortably placed.
Very cute color (I got the military green). The pale pink on the inside is a nice combo.
