wow...winter boots with flair. salomon never lets me down. fit is about a 1/2 size big, but ok if you wear heavy socks. they got about 5 compliments by a wide array of people the first time i wore them, some of whom just happened to pass by. very comfortable and versatile.

I was planning a trip to Germany and Switzerland for two weeks in February. I wanted a boot that would keep my feet warm, would be comfortable to walk miles in and be stylish enough to look good in an urban environment. This was the perfect boot! It snowed almost every day of the trip and I wore the Salomon boots far more than I had expected to. They looked good with jeans or dresses and kept my feet warm and dry. This was the perfect boot!

Well, they are cute to look at. Kinda different. I got these because people talked about how stretchy they are. But, once again I was disappointed when I tried them on and I couldn't zipper them over my calf. If you ever have trouble with boots fitting over you calf (and I know many of us do)these boots are not going to be the one for you. Otherwise they might be fine.

These got me through almost everything from last winter in Colorado. They're incredibly flexible, featherweight and adaptable. They stretch to fit my odd-sized feet, roll up for travel, I can wear them with thin or thick socks... I'm ordering a second pair, couldn't want to be without them.

Usually most high legged boots fit only slim legs, but these boots fits great, the rib elastic material at the back is so flexible it zips up easily & comfortable as any other Salomon designed shoes.

I've been wearing these boots constantly since I got them. They are super comfortable and cute. They fit close to the leg, so they fit fine under jeans, but I love to wear them with skirts and tights, too. In addition, I have worn them in both rain and light snow and stayed warm and dry. These boots fit on the small side of true to size, and because they fit so close to the body, I would recommend getting a half to a full size larger if you want to wear them with cushy socks.

I like these boots, and know they will be on my feet all winter, once the snow starts to pile up. I have gotten compliments when I wear them with skirts and tights. They are really tall and flexible. If you are looking for a really weather friendly fashion boot, they are perfect. If you are looking for a fashion only black boot, you wouldn't like it. A rival women' only athletic clothier shows it more dressy and it looks cool too.

cute and comfortable. It kept me warm in a cold wintery mix and also when it was raining. Feet never felt so warm. Fit was good and true to size.

Extremely comfortable from the first moment I put them on. They come just below the knee and go well with skirts (casual) or pants. Long zipper makes them and easy on and off for airport security. I usually have to size up by ½ to 1 for most boots because I have a high instep and a sturdy calf and I didn’t need to go up a size in these boots. They are lightweight flexible boots – as comfortable as slippers but with support. Went from a 6 hours morning flight straight to a day/evening of walking all over Seattle – didn’t need to think about my feet once as they were warm and comfortable. Cannot yet attest to their water evading skills.

These are the perfect winter boots. I have uggs...and they are great for apres ski...only. Too furry for my taste for anything else. I have sorel boots for snowshoeing and they are perfect for that actvity, but too bulky for anything else.

These boots are sleek like a sock and underneath feel like a running shoe. Light, comfortable, seems to be waterproof so far. They find under boot cut jeans. Perfect, perfect.

I am a 9m, on the narrow side of medium. These fit true to size in length, but a bit on the narrow side (great for me though) so not enough room for a thick sock. Warm enough for moderate snowy days, but too chilly for really cold days. They fit over my 15" calves and I still have enough room to tuck in a skinny jean pant leg or fleece leggings. Cute look, kinda like a dive bootie.

I am very happy with these boots. I packed them for a trip to Montana and they certainly kept me warm, however the reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because they are NOT totally waterproof. My socks got wet directly above the front rubber sole. It feels as though they are made of a material similiar to a wet suit, so I may have just trusted them too much while puddle jumping :) One last thing, a total stranger stopped me while in line to get coffee and asked me where I got these boots and she told me that she loved them! I would recommend these to anyone that likes to stay warm, but look cool :)

well I still can't decide if I like these boots or not. They are nothing like leather riding boots or motorcycle boots, but then again they aren't advertised as that. They are super comfy and would be great in the rain and snow. They are are cute, black is always easy to wear and they make your feet look slender sorta like surf booties do! Nice. I guess I just haven't figured out what to wear them with yet.

I was expecting these boots to be boot-like. Instead, I got some tall neoprene-like boots... I was thinking the manufacturer must have forgotten to put fleece lining in because it is so paper thin I had a hard time finding it. They also buckle (as in, fold) at the ankles and look exactly like tall neoprene surfing booties. They are floppy. I was so sad. They looked so cute in the picture.

these are tall, floppy, thin boots that feel exactly like floppy neoprene. they should be used for surfing instead of anything snow related.

I was disappointed with these..."boots". Mainly because they didn't feel like boots at all. They felt like tall neoprene surfing booties. I thought the manufacturer forgot my fleece lining because I had to search to find it. The fleece lining is paper thin. The boots fold at the ankles in a very weird way, the material is floppy, the seems didn't look durable and they didn't resemble winter boots at all. If you want some tall shoes that feel EXACTLY like neoprene, get these. If you don't envision yourself walking through the snow in neoprene-ish boots, look elsewhere. Too bad, they look so cute and boot-like in the picture.
