Salomon Teneighty SPK Alpine Ski - 2007

Win the slopestyle, pipe, and rail contest on one ski—the Salomon Teneighty SPK. For the skier who wants to hit everything, this Salomon park ski offers tech construction with plenty of steeze. The Salomon SPK's agile monocoque construction spreads out and diffuses pressure on impact, making stomping the contest winner easier. The total edge reinforcement and rivets on the tip and tail hold the SPK together during the rail comp. The SPK's lightweight Isocell core dampens unwanted vibration on the run in and reduces the overall swing weight, so you can pull that extra half rotation, throw a first pump, and ride down to a cheering crowd.

Bottom Line: Take bombpoof construction. Add a dash of new-school steeze and a pinch of old-school performance and voila! The Salomon Teneighty SPK Alpine Ski. Best served cold.

Check out the Volkl Bridge, K2 Kung Fujas, and the Rossignol S5.----------------------------------------------------------------Man, you're looking at a good one right here. The SPK kills park and bumps with ease and will be a super fun ride in pow as long as it's not more than a foot deep or so. If you need a similar ski for deeper days, check out the Prophet series from Line or (as GreenMan said) the fatter half of the Seven Deadly Sins from Rossi. You'll appreciate the lighter, softer skis for their versatility. Hope this helps!

A pro bump ski is going to be almost straight (i.e. have little to no sidecut). While the Salomon Teneighty SPK Alpine Ski is narrow enough to rip zipper lines down bumps it still does have a significant shape to it that some traditional mogul skiers don't like. That being said I think you will be very happy with this ski as it does great in the bumps - as one review points out - has a twin tip, and is very well made.
